Japana is a small proxy written in Perl. It converts Hiragana, Katakana
and Kanji on the fly into Romaji. The conversion is done using the
kakasi-library for Perl.
Jishyo is an English -> Japanese dictionary. Currently it only supports
English queries. In the future I hope to add support for kana and kanji
queries, as well as multi-radical lookups for kanji. Jishyo is based in
large part on code from Jim Breen's xjdic. It also uses the dictionary
data from the same software.
kcode is a handy utility to show codepoint information of given
characters.
This is the ChaSen library module for Perl5.
This is the Kakasi library module for Perl5.
This is an Unicode conversion library with Japanese codesets support
for Ruby.
Supported character encoding schemes are UCS-4, UTF-16, UTF-8, EUC-JP,
CP932 (a variant of Shift_JIS for Japanese Windows).
XDTP (XML Document Transform Program) is an application that offers
arbitrarily XML document transformation suited for writing of books,
web articles, magazine articles, or something like that.
This is pTeX, TeX system with Japanese support. This package installs
Japanese specific executables and other files.
This system depends on teTeX 3.0, which contains TeX, LaTeX2e, and
various other TeX related programs.

Data in this port are converted from the original dictionary into JIS
X 4081 format (that is a subset of EPWING V1) by FreePWING. So this
can be used by EPWING viewers on Unix and the other OS (e.g. Windows
or MacOS).
