This package contains implentations of the Free Standards Group (FSG)
Open Printing API (PAPI) (v1.0) and client software that uses it.
The implemenations of the API are designed so that they can be used
individually to support client application interaction with a particular
type of print service or together to interact with a variety of different
print service types.

year. By default, it looks for a file in the home directory named
"calendar" for entries with leading dates matching dates on the
calendar, and prints any following text under the appropriate day.
pkipplib is a Python library which can prepare IPP requests with the
help of a somewhat high level API. These requests can then be sent to

ptexenc is a useful library for Japanese pTeX (which stands for
publishing TeX, and is an extension of TeX by ASCII Co.) and its
surrounding tools. ptexenc provides a better way of handling
character encodings.
ptexenc is not an official product of ASCII Co., so pTeX and other
tools need some patches to make use of it. Some patches are included
within this archive.
Xdvik is a program for displaying DVI files (generated e.g. by Troff or TeX)
on the X window system. It is based on the regular (non-k) xdvi of the same
version number.
This package includes pTeX support. A fontmap file for xdvi is installed as
TEXMFDIST/fonts/map/xdvi/xdvi-ptex.map.
