Herqq UPnP (HUPnP) is a software library for building UPnP devices and control
points conforming to the UPnP Device Architecture version 1.1.
IAXmodem is a software modem written in C that uses an IAX channel (commonly
provided by an Asterisk PBX system) instead of a traditional phone line and
uses a DSP library instead of DSP hardware chipsets.
ICPLD (Internet Connection Performance Logging Daemon) is a
daemon which, by sending ICMP requests to an IP address of your
choice, monitors whether your machine has a working network
connection. It will log any failed attempts, and will stamp a
log as soon as a reply is received. It keeps track of when the
connection was unavailable, as well as for how long. It records
both total down time and each occasion of interrupted
connection. The log can also be duplicated in HTML format to
put online.
igmpproxy is a simple multicast routing daemon based on mrouted. It uses IGMP
forwarding to dynamically route multicast traffic.
Reqiures multicast forwarding enabled
iLBC (internet Low Bitrate Codec)
iLBC is a FREE speech codec suitable for robust voice communication
over IP. The codec is designed for narrow band speech and results
in a payload bit rate of 13.33 kbit/s with an encoding frame length
of 30 ms and 15.20 kbps with an encoding length of 20 ms. The iLBC codec
enables graceful speech quality degradation in the case of lost frames,
which occurs in connection with lost or delayed IP packets.
Features:
* Bitrate 13.33 kbps (399 bits, packetized in 50 bytes) for the frame
size of 30 ms and 15.2 kbps (303 bits, packetized in 38 bytes) for
the frame size of 20 ms
* Basic quality higher then G.729A, high robustness to packet loss
* Computational complexity in a range of G.729A
* Royalty Free Codec
Snort 2.9 introduces the DAQ, or Data Acquisition library,
for packet I/O. The DAQ replaces direct calls to PCAP functions
with an abstraction layer that facilitates operation on a variety
of hardware and software interfaces without requiring changes
to Snort. It is possible to select the DAQ type and mode
when invoking Snort to perform PCAP readback or inline operation, etc.
The DAQ library may be useful for other packet processing applications
and the modular nature allows you to build new modules for other
platforms.
A verbose packet sniffer that displays a great amount of detail
on each packet it reads, including application layer fields.
JCIFS is an Open Source client library that implements the CIFS/SMB networking
protocol in 100% Java. CIFS is the standard file sharing protocol on the
Microsoft Windows platform (e.g. Map Network Drive ...). This client is used
extensively in production on large Intranets.
JGroups is a toolkit for reliable multicast communication.
(Note that this doesn't necessarily mean IP Multicast,
JGroups can also use transports such as TCP).
It can be used to create groups of processes whose members can
send messages to each other. The main features include:
* Group creation and deletion
* Joining and leaving of groups
* Membership detection and notification about joined/left/crashed members
* Detection and removal of crashed members
* Sending and receiving of member-to-group messages (point-to-multipoint)
* Sending and receiving of member-to-member messages (point-to-point)
jrdesktop is an open source software for viewing and/or controlling a
distance PC. Besides then screenshots, keyboard and mouse events
transfer, jrdesktop includes many additional features(file transfer,
data compression, color conversion, ...).
