Perl WWW::Search class for searching Google
This class is a Google specialization of WWW::Search. It handles
searching Google http://www.google.com/ using its new SOAP API
http://www.google.com/apis/.
All interaction should be done through WWW::Search objects.
Note that you must register for a Google Web API account and have a
valid Google API license key before using this module.

Command line HTTP client
HTTPie (pronounced aych-tee-tee-pie) is a command line HTTP client.
Its goal is to make CLI interaction with web services as
human-friendly as possible. It provides a simple http command that
allows for sending arbitrary HTTP requests using a simple and natural
syntax, and displays colorized responses. HTTPie can be used for
testing, debugging, and generally interacting with HTTP servers.
Window Maker dock app that will remind you of birthdays
wmbday is a Window Maker dock app for Linux und FreeBSD that will remind you of
birthdays. It can show up to four persons whose birthday is next. On a birthday
it will notify you by blinking the concerning person. Background color, normal
and notification font color can be changed. The data is loaded from a simple
text file.
Convert X font from PCF to BDF
Pcf2bdf is a font de-compiler. It converts X fonts from Portable
Compiled Format (PCF) to Bitmap Distribution Format (BDF). It can
also accept a compressed/gzipped PCF file as input, but gzip must
be found in your PATH.
FONTBOUNDINGBOX in a BDF file is not used by bdftopcf, so pcf2bdf
generates irresponsible values.

all apps. It also includes a small clock on the bar, that
can be easily disabled.
Qt-based window manager
This is a window manager based on the Qt library. It supports
icons, keyboard controls, and virtual screens. It comes with two
applets: a biff-like mail indicator and a clock, both designed to
be swallowed by its toolbar.
Caution! Killing this window manager will kill some of your X
clients (applications).

KDE terminal emulator
Konsole is a terminal program for KDE.
As well as being a standalone program, it is also used by other KDE
programs such as the Kate editor and KDevelop development environment
to provide easy access to a terminal window. Konsole's features and
usage are explained and illustrated in the Konsole handbook, which can
be accessed by browsing to "help:/konsole" in Konqueror.
