Tarantool is an efficient NoSQL database and a Lua application server.
Key features of the Lua application server:
* 100% compatible drop-in replacement for Lua 5.1, based on LuaJIT 2.0.
Simply use #!/usr/bin/tarantool instead of #!/usr/bin/lua in your script.
* full support for Lua modules and a rich set of own modules, including
cooperative multitasking, non-blocking I/O, access to external databases,
etc.
Key features of the database:
* MsgPack data format and MsgPack based client-server protocol
* two data engines: 100% in-memory with optional persistence and a 2-level
disk-based B-tree, to use with large data sets
* multiple index types: HASH, TREE, BITSET
* asynchronous master-master replication
* authentication and access control
* the database is just a C extension to the app server and can be turned off
OpenSMTPD is a FREE implementation of the server-side SMTP protocol as
defined by RFC 5321, with some additional standard extensions. It
allows ordinary machines to exchange e-mails with other systems
speaking the SMTP protocol.
MiniDLNA (aka ReadyDLNA) is server software with the aim of being
fully compliant with DLNA/UPnP-AV clients.
The media files are listed in an SQLite database allowing prompt
restarts.
This is a server for the Linux network block device (nbd). It allows Linux to
use a partition or a file over the network as a regular block device.
Xephyr is a kdrive server that outputs to a window on a pre-existing
'host' X display. Think Xnest but with support for modern extensions
like composite, damage and randr.
fusioninventory-agent is an agent for OCS Inventory server and
FusionInventory for GLPI servers. It creates local inventory of the
machines (hardware and software) and send it to the server. It can also
write it in a local XML file. This agent is the successor of the former
linux_agent which was released with OCS 1.01 and prior. It also replaces
the unofficial Solaris/AIX/BSD agents.
Fax::Hylafax::Client is a simple Perl client for the HylaFAX fax server
(www.hylafax.org). It communicates with the server directly through the FTP
protocol and thus does not require any HylaFAX software component to be
installed on the client machine.
Given a file containing a list of Unix commands, multithreading is used to
process the commands in parallel on a single server. Success/failure is
captured, and failed commands are retained and reported.
oftpd is designed to be as secure as an anonymous FTP server can possibly be.
It runs as non-root for most of the time, and uses the Unix chroot() command to
hide most of the systems directories from external users - they cannot change
into them even if the server is totally compromised! It contains its own
directory change code, so that it can run efficiently as a threaded server, and
its own directory listing code (most FTP servers execute the system "ls"
command to list files).
BSDftpd-ssl is the secure FTP server that supports industry standard TLS/SSL
encryption and authentication for whole FTP sessions and data transfers. This
implementation is compatible with the original FTP protocol, which is described
in RFC 959, and the TLS/SSL enhancement allows RFC 2228-compliant TLS/SSL
protection for both control and data channels.
This package contains the secure FTP server, the command-line TLS/SSL-aware FTP
client utility, an essential documentation, and also script programs for a
basic X.509 certificate management.
