YADIFA is a lightweight authoritative Name Server with DNSSEC capabilities.
Developed by the passionate people behind the .eu top-level domain, YADIFA has
been built from scratch to face today?s DNS challenges, with no compromise on
security, speed and stability, to offer a better and safer Internet experience.
YADIFA has a simple configuration syntax and can handle more queries per second
while maintaining one of the lowest memory footprints in the industry. YADIFA
also has one of the fastest zone file load times ever recorded on a name
server.
YADIFA was developed on FreeBSD and a GNU/Linux. It works on OSX and will be
soon ported to other Unix flavours like OpenBSD and Solaris. A Microsoft
Windows version is also on the cards.
A script that tries to update the serial inside a DNS zonefile with sane values
if the file has changed during edit.
AbiWord is an open-source, cross-platform WYSIWYG word processor. It works
on Windows and most Unix Systems.

Conglomerate is a free, user-friendly XML editor, aimed at providing
a comfortable DocBook editor for the masses that's nicely integrated
into GNOME.
Conglomerate is still fairly unstable when doing editing work,
and will crash from time to time. However, it is becoming usable
for viewing DocBook and other XML formats, for creating new documents,
and making simple changes to existing documents.
DeforaOS desktop text editor
DrJava is a lightweight development environment for writing Java programs.
It is designed primarily for students, providing an intuitive interface
and the ability to interactively evaluate Java code. It also includes
powerful features for more advanced users. DrJava is available for free
under the DrJava Open Source License, and it is under active development
by the JavaPLT group at Rice University.
KDE Base Applications consists of what runs on the desktop. This
module isn't a complete collection of essential applications that a
user would expect on a desktop (such as e-mail and calculator). This
package is the basic set of applications beyond the workspace that KDE
applications can assume are installed. These applications should have
no problem running on Windows, OS X, Gnome, etc. as stand alone
applications if the user wanted to use them there.
GHEX is a simple binary editor, allowing binary files to be edited in
both hex and ascii. It features find and replace functions and conversion
between binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal values, making use of an
alternative, user-configurable MDI concept.
