This module acts as a base class for applications which implement a RESTful interface. When an HTTP request is received some dispatching logic in REST::Application is invoked, calling different handlers based on what the kind of HTTP request it was (i.e. GET, PUT, etc) and what resource it was trying to access. This module won't ensure that your API is RESTful but hopefully it will aid in developing a REST API.

MP3FS is a read-only FUSE filesystem which transcodes audio formats (currently FLAC) to MP3 on the fly when opened and read. This was written to enable me to use my FLAC collection with software and/or hardware which only understands the MP3 format e.g. gmediaserver to a Netgear MP101 MP3 player. It is also a novel alternative to traditional MP3 encoders. Just use your favorite file browser to select the files you want encoded and copy them somewhere!

xcalib is a program that allows you to use ICC profiles (to load its 'vcgt'-tag) for X11 servers display calibration with XVidModeExtension supported (like X.org or XFree86 4.x.x). It can't create the profiles so you need to acquire them elsewhere (e.g. from some commercial program or from your display vendor). xcalib is a postcardware. KDE Base Applications consists of what runs on the desktop. This module isn't a complete collection of essential applications that a user would expect on a desktop (such as e-mail and calculator). This package is the basic set of applications beyond the workspace that KDE applications can assume are installed. These applications should have no problem running on Windows, OS X, Gnome, etc. as stand alone applications if the user wanted to use them there.

This is Cat'sEyE (catseye-fm), a filesystem browser using gtk+2. Main goals: clear view, powerfull, no icons, fast. Cat'sEyE gots its power by the configuration file where the user can (but not has to) 'create' dialogs and build complicated commandlines which Cat'sEyE calls to the Shell. You can define how the items are called to some program: each item (e.g. for viewing some pictures), all items (e.g. for listen to some music) or processed in a list, calling one item after each other waiting for the previouse item to finish. FileShelfs help you to keep track of your data spread out over the whole filesystem, but also belonging together such as configfiles.

MusicTracker is a plugin for Pidgin which displays the music track currently playing in the status message of various accounts such as AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Gtalk (Jabber), etc., i.e. any protocol Pidgin supports custom statuses on. Support for a wide range of audio players on both Windows and UNIX platforms is planned. Currently supported players: Amarok, Rhythmbox, Audacious, XMMS, MPC/MPD, Exaile, Banshee and Quod Libet.
