YASQL is an open source Oracle command line interface.
YASQL features a much kinder alternative to SQL*Plus's user interface.
This is meant to be a complete replacement for SQL*Plus when dealing with
ad hoc queries and general database interfacing.
Note: this is not a front-end to sqlplus!
Disk Usage Analyzer is a graphical application to analyse disk usage in any
Gnome environment. Disk Usage Analyzer can easily scan device volumes or a
specific user-requested directory branch (local or remote).
Once the scan is complete Disk Usage Analyzer provides a graphical
representation of each selected folder.
This is a character map. It is developed using the GNUstep development

gcalcli is a Python application that allows you to access you Google Calendar
from a command line. It's easy to get your agenda, search for events, and
quickly add new events. Additionally gcalcli can be used as a reminder service
to execute any application you want.
gaddr is a nice simple little address book written using the GTK+
widget set. It holds addresses and any other information you want to
know about a person. It basically acts like a pile of alphabetized
3x5 cards on which you can write whatever your little heart desires.

It puts an icon on notification area which will blink when there is any

ithought is a personal thought manager, allowing you to create and store
entries that can be linked together via keywords. Through the use of
various modules, it is possible to do a number of things with these
entries, including uploading to a website as part of an online journal.
Modules can be written in C or in any scripting language.
qOrganizer is a general organizer that includes a calendar with schedule,
reminders,journal/notes for every day, to-do list.But provides features
useful for students such as:timetable and a booklet for marks and absences.

clive - A command line client for posting LiveJournal entries
clive is a UNIX-style client for LiveJournal and sites based on the
same code. It allows posting, friends-list editing, backdated posts,
and many of the other things a LiveJournal client should do.
The Desktop Notifications framework provides a standard way of doing passive
pop-up notifications on the desktop. These are designed to notify the
user of something without interrupting their work with a dialog box that they
must close. Passive popups can automatically disappear after a short period
of time.
