The POP3 extension makes it possible for a PHP
script to connect to and interact with a POP3 mail server.
It is based on the PHP streams interface and requires no
external library.
Ingo is an email-filter management application. It is fully internationalized,
integrated with Horde and the IMP Webmail client, and supports both server-side
(Sieve, procmail) and client-side (IMAP) message filtering.
This module allows users to access their Gmail messages with an IMAP
client by running a server which accepts IMAP connections.
Currently this module supports only a subset of the IMAP4 protocol.
scam-backscatter milter
Scam-backscatter prevents spam backscatter (accept and bounce) on
mail servers which don't host mailboxes locally. It validates
mailboxes by verifying the recipient addresses hosted on a different
mail server.
KRDC is a client application that allows you to view or even control
the desktop session on another machine that is running a compatible
server. VNC and RDP is supported.
Like inetd, this program listens on the net for requests and spawns a
server to handle them. However, it only handles one port and one
program. Other limitations:
