The Tile Widget Set is a next-generation re-implementation of many of the core
Tk widgets, along with the addition of several new widgets. With Tile, Tk
applications can achieve an appearance much closer to native platform widgets,
as well as take advantage of a modern, highly dynamic theme engine to produce a
wide variety of alternative user interface styles. Tile widgets complement the
existing Tk widgets, and Tile is currently being incorporated directly into Tk.
XmHTML is a Motif widget capable of displaying HTML 3.2 documents.
Features include a very good HTML parser (which is as also available
as a Widget) with excellent document verification and repair
capabilities.
Features built in support for X11 bitmaps, pixmaps, GIF87a & GIF89a
(using a patent free LZW decoding method), animated gifs, JPEG
(baseline and progressive) and PNG (all features supported), anchor
highlighting, text justification, full HTML <FRAME> support, HTML
frames and many more. It also comes with four examples demonstrating
possible use of the XmHTML widget.
AntiWM is a small and simple window manager with a focus on
productivity and utility. Inspired by ratpoison, AntiWM is
keyboard driven and handles all windows fullscreen.
gcompmgr is a GNOME interface to xcompmgr. Through xcompmgr it allows you to
use your graphics card to create effects in your GNOME window manager.
Tiling window manager for X, based on David Hogan's 9wm.
It provides virtual desktops, support for tiled and untiled
windows, keyboard shortcuts and more, while using very little
system resources.
euclid-wm is a minimalist, tiling window manager for X11 that seeks to allow
easy management of numerous windows entirely from the keyboard.
euclid seeks to do two things in particular:
- balance the ease of use common among window managers with automatic
or fixed layouts with the flexibility of those dynamic layouts,
- create an easy way to manage minimized windows

PLWM is a set of python base classes for a window manager, a
collection of mixins that can be used to configure the behavior of the
window manager, and some example window managers that show the flexibility
of the system.
JWM is a window manager for the X11 Window System. JWM is written in C
and uses only Xlib at a minimum, though additional libraries are
supported for extended functionality and features. JWM supports MWM and
Extended Window Manager Hints (EWMH).
Wmakerconf is a configuration tool for the famous window manager
Window Maker. It is based on the GTK+ and Imlib libraries.
