MATE Power Manager is a MATE session daemon that acts as a policy agent
on top of HAL (the Hardware Abstraction Layer). MATE Power Manager listens
for HAL events and responds with user-configurable reactions.
Currently it supports laptop batteries and AC adapters. Its goal is to be
architecture neutral and free of polling and other hacks.
Battray is a python program that displays a tray icon to inform you of the
battery status of your notebook.
It is also able to take certain actions depending on battery status.
It's simple, easy, fairly environment-independent, and "just works" without
tons of (Gnome|KDE|..) dependencies.
Fuse lets you write filesystems in Perl. Fuse::Simple makes this REALLY Simple,
as you just need a hash for your root directory, containing strings for files,
more hashes for subdirs, or functions to be called for magical functionality a
bit like /proc.
This collection of modules adds multiple network awareness to the MogileFS
server. It provides two replication policies, 'MultipleNetworks' and
'HostsPerNetwork', and also provides a plugin 'ZoneLocal' that causes
get_paths queries to be returned in a prioritized order based on locality of
storage.
execnet provides a share-nothing model with channel-send/receive communication
for distributing execution across many Python interpreters across version,
platform and network barriers. It has a minimal and fast API targetting the
following uses:
* Distribute tasks to (many) local or remote CPUs
* Write and deploy hybrid multi-process applications
* Write scripts to administer multiple environments
radmind is a set of tools for creating filesystem diffs which can be
loaded over the network. This is useful for administering a large number
of hosts at the filesystem level. It can also act as an intelligent
tripwire.
This port contains security and functionality patches through May 22, 2014.
This is a Linux/i386 rpm port of procps.
procps is the package that has a bunch of small useful utilities
that give information about processes using the /proc filesystem.
The package includes the programs ps, top, vmstat, w, kill,
free, slabtop, and skill.
SEC is an event correlation tool that was designed to fill the gap between
commercial event correlation systems and homegrown solutions that usually
comprise of a few simple shell scripts.
SEC is highly customizable to accept events from many sources and build a
powerful correlation engine.
reed is a text pager for reading large files, such as full books
(usually etexts from Project Gutenberg). It has the features one
would expect for a pager (multiple buffers, searching, file
information, subshells, etc) and more: persistent bookmarks, auto
scrolling, and support for many different types of files.
Scans directories for symbolic links, and identifies dangling,
relative, absolute, messy, lengthy and other_fs links. Can optionally
change absolute links to relative within a given filesystem.
Recommended for use by anyone developing and/or maintaining a Linux
distribution or CD-ROM.
