The massXpert project aims at providing (bio)chemists with a software
package allowing the following:
* User-specific atom definitions and polymer chemistry definitions;
* Powerful sequence editing with user-defined glyphs for each monomer
and monomer chemical modification. Multi-region selections;
* Polymer sequence chemical/enzymatic cleavage;
* Intramolecular cross-linking, like disulfide bonds with total resolution
of the peptides generated upon enzymatic cleavage;
* Gas-phase fragmentation of oligomers;
* Mass-to-charge ratio calculations with inline change of ionization agent;
* Calculation of net electrical charge and of isoelectric point (even by
taking into account monomer modifications if polymer is a protein);
* Simulation of isotopic patterns for any chemical formula and z charge;
* A number of plugins allow 1) translation of the sequence from one format
to another (using a dictionary, like between the 1-letter code and the 3-letter
code of proteins) 2) conversion of number format according to any localized
number format 3) sort mass lists.
Web viewer plugin allows easy serial view of medical images stored in
Orthanc server in a browser, using HTML5 technology.

The plugin can't be used for diagnostic purposes.
Pupynere is a Python module for reading and writing NetCDF files, using the same
API as Scientific.IO.NetCDF and pynetcdf. It depends only on Numpy, so you don't
need to have the NetCDF library installed.
Ws2300 manipulates the LaCrosse WS-2300 weather station via its RS232
interface. It can read and write values, and can continuously log data from
WS-2300 to a file or SQL database.
Pycdf is a python interface to the Unidata netCDF library. It provides an
almost complete coverage of the netCDF C API, wrapping it inside easy to
use python classes.
cryptlib is a powerful security toolkit which allows even inexperienced
crypto programmers to easily add encryption and authentication services to
their software. The high-level interface provides anyone with the ability to
add strong security capabilities to an application in as little as half an
hour, without needing to know any of the low-level details which make the
encryption or authentication work. Because of this, cryptlib dramatically
reduces the cost involved in adding security to new or existing applications.
cryptlib provides a standardised interface to a number of popular encryption
algorithms, as well as providing a high-level interface which hides most of
the implementation details and provides an operating-system-independent
encoding method which makes it easy to transfer secured data from one operating
environment to another.
Dirmngr is a client for managing and downloading certificate
revocation lists (CRLs) for X509 certificates and for downloading the
certificates themselves. Dirmngr is usually invoked by gpgsm and in
general not used directly.
Bcrypt is a blowfish file encryption utility which aims for cross-platform
portability.
In addition to providing 448-bit encryption, bcrypt overwrites input files with
random garbage before deletion in order to make low-level data recovery much
more difficult.
Password hashing (bcrypt, pbkdf2_sha512) library for Elixir.
This library is intended to make it very straightforward for
developers to check users' passwords in as secure a manner as
possible.
Comeonin now supports bcrypt and pbkdf2_sha512.
fprint_demo is a simple GTK+ application to demonstrate and
test libfprint's capabilities. It can be used to enroll new finger prints
as well as verify and delete existing data sets.
