Ruby-taglib is a ruby library wrapping the Taglib library,
simple dl-based wrapper of Taglib's C library.
It's short and sweet, because the C API is written by someone who knows
how to use OO programming, and Ruby with dl just makes it all too easy
to wrap such a library.
MP3Info is a little utility used to read and modify the ID3 tags of MP3 files.
MP3Info can also display various techincal aspects of an MP3 file including
playing time, bit-rate, sampling frequency and other attributes in a pre-defined
or user-specifiable output format.
raop_play is a music file player for Apple Airport Express,
the main functionalities are as follows:

SIDPlayer is a replayer program for C64 music (SID tunes). You can think of it
as being a stripped-down C64 emulator that only emulates the processor and the

KStreamRipper is a program for recording Internet radios and other
streams. For streams that provide information about the song title,
it can split the stream and create an own file for each track with
a corresponding file name and corresponding metadata.

Net::FreeDB is an oo-based module to interface
with FreeDB servers. It also includes some basic
cdrom methods to generate a cddbid and get the
required disc information required for a FreeDB
query call. These cdrom-based methods are provided
as both static and method calls.
This is actually a set of three modules to access the CDDB online
database of audio CD track titles and information. It includes a
C extension module to fetch track lengths under Linux, FreeBSD,
OpenBSD, Solaris, and Win32, which is easily ported to other
operating systems.
PulseAudio Preferences (paprefs) is a simple GTK based configuration dialog for
the PulseAudio sound server.
Please note that this program can only configure local servers, and requires
that a special module module-gconf is loaded in the sound server. (Since
PulseAudio 0.9.5 this modules is loaded by default.)
