DNS SRV record command line wrapper
-----------------------------------
wrapsrv adds support for connecting to a network service based on DNS SRV
record lookups to commands that do not support the DNS SRV record. wrapsrv
implements the weighted priority client connection algorithm in RFC 2782.
The specified command line will be invoked one or more times with %h and %p
sequences in the command line substituted for the hostname and port elements
of the selected SRV record.
libspectrum is a fairly simple library designed to make the handling
of various ZX Spectrum emulator-related file formats easy.
So far it handles:
* Snapshots: .z80, .szx, .sna (all read/write), .zxs, .sp.,
.snp and +D snapshots (read only)
* Tape images: .tzx, .tap (read/write) and Warajevo .tap (read only)
* Input recordings: .rzx (read/write)
* Timex cartridges: .dck (read only)
There are also some subsidiary functions which may be generally useful
for Spectrum-related utilities.
Chocolate Doom is a port of ID Software's Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom to
modern operating systems that aims to be as compatible with the original DOS
executable as possible. This includes emulating all the different versions,
playing demos perfectly accurately, playing "vanilla-only" PWADS, and netcode
that works on newer operating systems while still behaving the same as
"vanilla" Doom. Additionally, Heretic, Hexen as well as Strife are also
supported.
Welcome to the Arena, where high-ranking warriors are transformed into
spineless mush. Abandoning every ounce of common sense and any trace of doubt,
you lunge onto a stage of harrowing landscapes and veiled abysses. Your new
environment rejects you with lava pits and atmospheric hazards as legions of
foes surround you, testing the gut reaction that brought you here in the first
place. Your new mantra: Fight or be finished.
In this game the player should help a girl by name of Violet to
struggle with hordes of monsters. For this purpose the various
weapon, and also the special abilities of the heroine which are
opening with experience can be used. In game there are elements of
RPG in the form of strength-agility-vitality and derivatives. Also
there is an unique feature: dynamic change of day and night.
Widelands is an open source real-time strategy game inspired by Bluebyte's
Settlers II (TM). You are the chieftain of a small tribe. To grow your kingdom,
you must secure resources, construct new buildings, train soldiers and wage
war against your opponents.
The game is playable and great fun already, but it is also still under heavy
development, so do not be surprised if it crashes on you.
XBlast is a multi-player arcade game for X11. The game
can be played with at least two players and up to six
players. It was inspired by the video/computer game
Bomberman(Dynablaster), which was to my knowledge first
programmed for NEC's PC Engine/Turbo Grafx. Other (com-
mercial) versions of the original game exist for IBM-PC,
Atari ST, Amiga, NES, GameBoy and Super NES.
Xisola game follow this simple rule:
Each move consists of two actions: first move your piece to an
adjascent empty field (horizontal, vertical or diagonal, like
the king in Chess), then take away any of the empty fields
Since the number of fields decreases with every move there will
be a point when one player will not have any empty fields left
to move to and he loses.
The NVIDIA Texture Tools is a collection of image processing and
texture manipulation tools, designed to be integrated in game tools
and asset conditioning pipelines.
The primary features of the library are mipmap and normal map
generation, format conversion and DXT compression.
DXT compression is based on Simon Brown's squish library. The library
also contains an alternative GPU-accelerated compressor that uses
CUDA and is one order of magnitude faster.
Visprint makes fractal fingerprint png images based on the contents of any
file. The image will be different for almost every file with even slightly
different contents. Visprint uses the IFS fractal generation process,
pioneered by Michael Barnsley. It is a way to create images which are
self-similar to infinite depths. In other words, the picture is made up of
smaller versions of itself.
