Heirloom-sh is a portable version of OpenSolaris' #!/bin/sh.
If one need to write portable shell scripts, this one is excellent for
testing them. It is installed as jsh (job shell).
Other OpenSolaris user land tools are available in sysutils/heirloom
Iron Bars Shell is a restricted Unix shell. The user can not step out of, nor
access files outside the home directory. It is written in C for Linux. No
libraries used. It is small, fast, secure. Two ascii configuration files for
more control.
Byobu is a Japanese term for decorative, multi-panel screens that serve as
folding room dividers. As an open source project, Byobu is an elegant
enhancement of the otherwise functional, plain, practical GNU Screen. Byobu
includes an enhanced profile and configuration utilities for the GNU screen
window manager, such as toggle-able system status notifications.
Ccze is a fast, C port of the well known colorize log colorizer.
It uses ncurses for the output and PCRE for matching. It is also
extensible via plug-ins.

syslog, ulogd, vsftpd, xferlog and more are provided.
CDBKUP is a professional-grade open-source package for
backing up filesystems onto CD-Rs or CD-RWs.

This port provides a program that loads the microcode firmware onto Sun
Microsystems AFB Graphics Accelerators aka Sun Microsystems Elite 3D
found in many UltraSPARC systems. The microcode is necessary if you want
to run X.Org with acceleration on these cards and is also included in this
port.
Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between
multiple computers with different operating systems, each with its
own display, without special hardware. It's intended for users
with multiple computers on their desk since each system uses its
own display.
'di' is a disk information utility, displaying everything
(and more) that your 'df' command does. It features the
ability to display your disk usage in whatever format you
desire/prefer/are used to. It is designed to be portable
across many platforms.
The ldapform utility creates a text file in ldif(5) format, which can be
used to add or modify entries in an LDAP server. The ldapedit utility does
the same, but also invokes an editor and submits the changes back to that
server.
Library and tools for reading FileVault2 Drive Encryption (FVDE) encrypted
volumes. The FVDE format is used by MacOS-X, as of Lion, to encrypt data
on a storage media volume.
