YABT means Yet another Braille Translator. YABT is a general purpose Braille translation system written in pure python. It is primarily designed to be used by the BrlTex Project, but due to its general design it may be suited to use in other projects. Currently YABT has a table for translation in to British Braille encoded in ASCII Braille, but tables for other codes and other output encodings such as unicode Braille are possible.

Camserv is a free program to do streaming video through the web Streaming video can be sent to both Netscape and Internet Explorer clients. However, Internet Explorer under Windows cannot apparently handle the multi-part JPEGs, and therefore a special javascript page must be setup. One is included in the distribution as an example. Currently, the only supported BSD device is the bktr driver. Both tunable modes and camera inputs are supported.

Fxtv is an X11-based FreeBSD app that provides TV-in-a-window and image/audio/video capture capabilities for Brooktree Bt848/849/878/879 and Pinnacle PCTV tuner/capture cards. To use this app, you need a capture card supported by the bktr(4) driver. Examples include the Hauppauge Wincast/TV, the STB TV PCI, and the Intel Smart Video Recorder III. See the 'bktr' man page for more information.

[From the README:] this is a small channel scan tool for vdr which generates ATSC, DVB-C, DVB-S/S2 and DVB-T channels.conf files. It's 50% "scan" from linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0, the differences are: - no initial tuning data needed, because scanning without this data is exactly what a scan tool like this should do - it detects automatically which DVB/ATSC card to use.

libfame is a video encoding library. It can currently encode MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 rectangular video, as well as MPEG-4 video with arbitrary shape. Objectives - Compliance : Provide bitstreams compliant to the MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video standards. - Speed : Provide a fast implementation of the techniques used in MPEG standards. - Flexibility : Allow the user to choose between different options for speed, compression ratio and quality. - Portability : Support many different platforms and architectures.

subtools is a port of DivX Subtitles MiniTools, command-line tools for movie subtitles in SubRipper format (.srt files). "srtshift" can adjust the subtitles by shifting them to the beginning or to the end. "srtrate" does the same by changing the supposed frame rate. It's in early stages of development (and have been there for a few years now), but it does its job well.

This is a Skype Plugin for Pidgin/libpurple/Adium. It lets you view and chat with all your Skype buddies from within Pidgin/Adium. You still need Skype to be running to be able to use it, but it lets you keep a consistent user interface and use all the other nifty Pidgin/Adium plugins with it, like spell-checking or OTR encryption. -- Eion Robb

Sofia-SIP is an open-source SIP User-Agent library, compliant with the IETF RFC3261 specification (see the feature table). It can be used as a building block for SIP client software for uses such as VoIP, IM, and many other real-time and person-to-person communication services. The primary target platform for Sofia-SIP is GNU/Linux. Sofia-SIP is based on a SIP stack developed at the Nokia Research Center. Sofia-SIP is licensed under the LGPL.

bgpuma is a program for searching BGP update files created by MRT or Zebra/Quagga for CIDR blocks and/or Autonomous Systems. Given a list of CIDR blocks, it looks for those CIDR blocks which match the list, are contained in the list, or are contained by the list. For Autonomous Systems, it looks for routes that are announced by the given system. It is based on the library created by RIPE called bgpdump and SiLK, created by CERT.
