The wmanager-addons package contains a couple of helper shell scripts and
manual pages for the x11/wmanager window manager selector. They were
originally part of the Debian wmanager package, but have later been ported
to other operating systems.
A command line tool for switching GTK+ themes.
i3lock improves slock by making it fork() and therefore combinable with
commands to suspend your computer. Additionally, instead of turning off
your screen via DPMS and/or displaying a black screen, i3lock displays a
white screen so you can see if your computer failed to resume from suspend
or if your screen is just locked. Also, when entering a wrong password,
i3lock does not call XBell(). This is important because i3lock/slock think
you have entered a password when resuming from suspend, at least sometimes.

i3status is a small program (about 1500 SLOC) for generating a status bar for
dzen2, xmobar or similar programs. It is designed to be very efficient by
issuing a very small number of system calls, as one generally wants to update
such a status line every second. This ensures that even under high load, your
status bar is updated correctly. Also, it saves a bit of energy by not hogging
your CPU as much as spawning the corresponding amount of shell commands would.
IPager is a X11 pager program that originally was developed for Fluxbox
but can also be used with other WM

Brightside is a tool to add reactivity to the corners and edges of your GNOME
desktop.
Brightside provides edge flipping to allow you to switch to the adjacent
workspace simply by pressing your mouse against the edge of the screen.

rest the mouse in a corner of the screen.

Xfdashboard provides a GNOME shell dashboard like interface for use with
the Xfce desktop. It can be configured to run any keyboard shortcut and
when executed provides an overview of applications currently open enabling
the user to switch between different applications.
Programatically (or manually) simulate keyboard input or mouse activity
using X11's XTEST extension.
