Jarl is a Perl/Tk application that allows one to access a Jabber
account and have full access to the Jabber IM system. It runs on any
platform that supports Perl and Tk, which at this time is most
platforms.
Jarl is going to be a full featured Jabber client that supports 100%
of the features that the Jabber IM offers.
Softflowd is flow-based network traffic analyser capable of Cisco NetFlow
data export. Softflowd semi-statefully tracks traffic flows recorded by
listening on a network interface or by reading a packet capture file.
These flows may be reported via NetFlow to a collecting host or summarised
within softflowd itself.

The NLANR/DAST Multicast Beacon is a program written in Perl which uses
the RTP protocol to provide useful statistics and diagnostic information
about a given multicast group. The Multicast Beacon can be used as a
general-purpose active multicast measurement tool.
FreeSWITCH is a scalable open source cross-platform telephony
platform designed to route and interconnect popular communication
protocols using audio, video, text or any other form of media. It
was created in 2006 to fill the void left by proprietary commercial
solutions. FreeSWITCH also provides a stable telephony platform
on which many applications can be developed using a wide range of
free tools.
Network-related giomodules for glib.
Glib-networking contains the implementations of certain GLib networking
features that cannot be implemented directly in GLib itself because of their
dependencies.
Currently it contains a GNUTLS-based implementation of GTlsBackend,
a libproxy-based implementation of GProxyResolver, and a GNOME GProxyResolver
that uses the proxy information from the GSettings schemas in
gsettings-desktop-schemas.
iplog is a TCP/IP traffic logger. Currently, it is capable of logging
TCP, UDP and ICMP traffic, though adding support for other protocols
should be relatively easy. iplog contains a built-in packet filter,
allowing for logging or excluding packets that fit a given set of
criteria.
Validate::Net is a class designed to assist with validation internet
related strings. It can be used to validate CGI forms, internally by
modules, and in any place where you want to check that an internet
related string is valid before handing it off to a Net::* class.
Whenever a test is false, you can access the reason through the reason
method.
usbredir is a protocol for redirecting USB traffic from a single USB device,
to a different (virtual) machine than the one to which the USB device is
attached. See usb-redirection-protocol.txt for the description / definition
of this protocol.
With the official 0.3 release the protocol is now frozen (only extensions
advertised through capabilities can be added from now on).
