PPSSPP is a HLE ("high level emulation") emulator, it simulates the PSP OS as seen by the game rather than the full hardware. A program running on the PSP OS can send raw display lists to the graphics chips, but can't access the flash controller or the Media Engine directly, instead it has to go through libraries and the PSP OS kernel. We simply simulate these. This is a lot of work though, the PSP OS is large and has plenty of functionality so achieving 100% compatibility is difficult bordering on the impossible. We can get close though.

Virtual GameBoy Advance (VGBA) is an emulator of the GameBoy Advance videogame console produced by Nintendo. It allows to run GameBoy Advance games on PCs, Macs, or just about any other sufficiently fast computers in existence. It can also help to debug GameBoy Advance software without using a costly development system. VGBA is not a real GameBoy Advance though. Get the real thing if you want a real experience. Also, VGBA will not play older GameBoy and GameBoy Color games. You will need VGB for that.

The Xen Project hypervisor is an open-source type-1 or baremetal hypervisor, which makes it possible to run many instances of an operating system or indeed different operating systems in parallel on a single machine (or host). The Xen Project hypervisor is the only type-1 hypervisor that is available as open source. It is used as the basis for a number of different commercial and open source applications, such as: server virtualization, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), desktop virtualization, security applications, embedded and hardware appliances

wmget is a dock app for the GNU Window Maker window manager which makes it more convenient to perform long downloads in the background. This is useful if you tend to have dozens of windows open at a time and tend to do a lot of routine downloading. Just copy the link from your browser, middle- click on the wmget dockapp, and the download will start. No download windows or terminals required, and you can monitor the progress and stop the transfer if desired without opening or raising any windows or even changing desktops.

This game is played in a parallelepipede containing PxNxN little cubes. You can first consider this 3D board as P 2D checkerboards of NxN squares. From 2 up to 10 players can confront each other. Each player begins with a certain number of pieces (or armies) that he has to move and make attack. One of his pieces represents him-self (or the chief, or the king, or anything you want). If this piece die, the player is eliminated. The last player staying alive wins. Messages can be sent to the other players , so that alliances can be implemented. A special timer assures that the game remains dynamic.

Well Tetris(R) probably isn't evil, but Bastet certainly is. Bastet stands for "bastard tetris", and is a simple ncurses-based Tetris(R) clone for Linux. Unlike normal Tetris(R), however, Bastet does not choose your next brick at random. Instead, Bastet uses a special algorithm designed to choose the worst brick possible. As you can imagine, playing Bastet can be a very frustrating experience!

Doom Legacy is a source port of Doom available for various operating systems which was originally written as a fork of DOSDoom introducing lots of useful improvements yet retaining original feel of the game. FreeBSD graphics console (VGL) version of the famous Digger game. HISTORY ------- Digger was originally created by Windmill software in 1983 and released as a copy-protected, bootable 5.25" floppy disk for the IBM PC/XT. As it requires a genuine CGA card, it didn't work on modern PCs. In 1998 a new version was created by Andrew Jenner which runs on all PCs with CGA or better and, whilst retaining all the atmosphere and playability of the original, has many new features. In 2000 it was ported to several Unix-like architectures by Maxim Sobolev. Currently it supports FreeBSD, using either VGL or SDL library, and Linux using SDL library.

Warzone 2100 is a real-time strategy game, developed by Pumpkin Studios and published by Eidos-Interactive. Although comparable to Earth2150 in many significant respects, it does contain aspects that are unique. These include various radar technologies, a greater focus on artillery and counter-battery technologies, more frequent in-game cinematic updates as gameplay progress, as well as a different vehicle design method. It was released in 1999 for both PC and Playstation. In late 2004 warzone was released by its copyright holders, Eidos-Interactive, to the public under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and the Warzone 2100 Resurrection Project was born.
