Geomgui is a viewer for the geom layer in the kernel written in C. It can show the geom layout on the host computer or fetch info from a remote system via ssh. It has the same arrow key bindings as fx, vi, (h,j,k and l)and uses z to soom out and Z to zoom in, u is for updating.

GNOME Power Manager is a GNOME session daemon that acts as a policy agent on top of HAL (the Hardware Abstraction Layer). GNOME Power Manager listens for HAL events and responds with user-configurable reactions. Currently it supports laptop batteries and AC adapters. Its goal is to be architecture neutral and free of polling and other hacks.

GSmartControl is a graphical user interface for smartctl (from sysutils/smartmontools port), which is a tool for querying and controlling SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) data on modern hard disk drives. It allows you to inspect the drive's SMART data to determine its health, as well as run various tests on it.

HOZ is what you would call a "file splitter". Its file format is the same as the one used by the "Hacha" software, a well known splitter in Spain and Latinamerica. HOZ is an open-source and portable C implementation of an "Hacha" compatible splitter.

Filelight allows you to quickly understand exactly where your diskspace is being used by graphically representing your file system as a set of concentric segmented-rings. You can use it to locate hotspots of disk usage and then manipulate those areas using a file manager.

The Intel(R) QSFP+ Configuration Utility is a command line utility that allows users to change the link type of the installed QSFP+ module. The supported types are defined within the adapter's NVM. This utility displays only the devices that potentially support QSFP+ reconfiguration. Only one port per device is displayed, since changes affect the device as a whole, not individual ports.

angel is a daemon that runs and monitors other processes. It is similar to djb's `daemontools` or the Ruby project `god`. It's goals are to keep a set of services running, and to facilitate the easy configuration and restart of those services.

Logstash is a tool for managing events and logs. You can use it to collect logs, parse them, and store them for later use (like, for searching). Speaking of searching, logstash comes with a web interface for searching and drilling into all of your logs.

liburcu is a LGPLv2.1 userspace RCU (read-copy-update) library. This data synchronization library provides read-side access which scales linearly with the number of cores. It does so by allowing multiples copies of a given data structure to live at the same time, and by monitoring the data structure accesses to detect grace periods after which memory reclamation is possible.

LXterminal is a VTE-based terminal emulator with support for multiple tabs. It is completely desktop-independent and does not have any unnecessary dependencies. In order to reduce memory usage and increase the performance all instances of the terminal are sharing a single process.
