GpsPrune is an application for viewing, editing and converting
coordinate data from GPS systems. Basically it's a tool to let you
play with your GPS data after you get home from your trip.
It can load data from arbitrary text-based formats (for example,
any tab-separated or comma-separated file) or Xml, or directly from
a GPS receiver. It can display the data (as map view using openstreetmap
images and as altitude profile), edit this data (for example delete
points and ranges, sort waypoints, compress tracks), and save the
data (in various text-based formats). It can also export data as a
Gpx file, or as Kml/Kmz for import into Google Earth, or send it
to a GPS receiver.
The xtide program predicts and displays tides. It is capable of
producing output in a variety of dynamic and static formats, and has
extensions for X, plain ASCII, and HTML.
Ario is a GTK2 client for MPD (Music player daemon). The interface used to
browse the library is inspired by Rhythmbox but Ario aims to be much lighter
and faster.
abcselect is a perl script for extracting parts, movements
etc. from files in the abc format of music notation.
Audiotag is a command-line tool for mass tagging/renaming of audio files
it supports the vorbis comment, id3 tags, and MP4 tags.
real-time pitch correction plugin for ladspa
Bandlimited oscillator plugins for LADSPA-aware audio applications.
Sawtooth, Square, Variable Pulse and Slope- variable triangle waves.
The asmixer utility is a mixer control for the X Windows environment. It
is designed to work with the AfterStep Window Manager, but it will
work with Window Maker or most any other Window Manager. It has
controls for three configurable channels which are master, pcm, and cd
volume by default.
Cdparanoia is a Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA) Digital Audio Extraction
(DAE) tool, commonly known on the net as a 'ripper'. The application is
built on top of the Paranoia library, which is doing the real work (the
Paranoia source is included in the cdparanoia source distribution).
Cdparanoia reads audio from the CDROM directly as data, with no analog step
between, and writes the data to a file or pipe in WAV, AIFC, or raw 16 bit
linear PCM.
Cdparanoia is a bit different than most other CDDA extraction tools. It
contains few-to-no 'extra' features, concentrating only on the ripping
process and knowing as much as possible about the hardware performing it.
Cdparanoia will read correct, rock-solid audio data from inexpensive drives
prone to misalignment, frame jitter, and loss of streaming during atomic
reads. Cdparanoia will also read and repair data from CDs that have been
damaged in some way.
Cdparanoia is easy to use and administrate. It has no compile time
configuration, happily autodetecting the CDROM, its type, its interface and
other aspects of the ripping process at runtime. A single binary can serve
the diverse hardware of the do-it-yourself computer laboratory from Hell.
The CELT codec is an experimental audio codec for use in low-delay
speech and audio communication. It's meant to close the gap between
Vorbis and Speex for applications where both high quality audio
and low delay are desired.
