KStreamRipper is a program for recording Internet radios and other
streams. For streams that provide information about the song title,
it can split the stream and create an own file for each track with
a corresponding file name and corresponding metadata.
rebot3.pl renames MP3 files that you have grabbed from audio CDs with
the track name, number, album, and/or artist. It does so by using
either a remote CDDB server or a local CDDB created by cd (and other)
players like xmcd, kscd or xmms. With rebot3.pl you can also add or
remove ID3 (version 1) tags to/from the MP3 files.
Using information which a SHOUTcast server can optionally send,
this program breaks an audio stream into "tracks," stores them in
separate files as they arrive, and names the files by appending
".mp3" to the name of the track. The tracks can be listened to at
the user's leisure with an MPEG Layer 3 audio player.
JSON::MaybeXS tries to load Cpanel::JSON::XS, and if that fails instead tries to
load JSON::PP. If neither is available, an exception will be thrown.
It then exports the encode_json and decode_json functions from the loaded
module, along with a JSON constant that returns the class name for calling new
on.
unix2dos is a set of command-line tools that converts ASCII newline characters
between Unix's LF and DOS's CR/LF (and vice versa). Despite its name, this
package provides both `unix2dos` as well as its counterpart, `dos2unix`.
DBIx::Class::Schema::Config is a subclass of DBIx::Class::Schema that
allows the loading of credentials from a file. The actual code itself
would only need to know about the name used in the configuration file.
This aims to make it simpler for operations teams to manage database
credentials.
The useracc utility is a special purpose database application to
store and retrieve data about users in a distributed environment.
It is usable in situations where a single numerical and/or a single
non-numerical field for each index (possibly a user name) are
adequate.
Rubrica is an addressbook manager for the GNOME Environment.
It allows you to add personal data (name, surname, address, etc.),
web links, irc and email addresses, telephone numbers, job information
(company where contact works, company infos, contact's assigment, etc.)
and notes.

and other chores -- whether you're using gcc, msvc, or a dozen
more supported C++ compilers -- on Windows, OSX, Linux and
commercial UNIX systems.
A simple OpenCL application that enumerates all possible platform and
device properties. Inspired by AMD's program of the same name, it is
coded in pure C99 and it tries to output all possible information,
including that provided by platform-specific extensions, and not to
crash on platform-unsupported properties (e.g. 1.2 properties on 1.1
platforms).
