pyexiv2 is a python binding to exiv2, the C++ library for manipulation of
EXIF and IPTC image metadata. It is a python module that allows your python
scripts to read and write metadata (EXIF, IPTC, thumbnail) embedded in image
files (JPEG, TIFF, ...).
It is designed as a high level interface to the functionalities offered by
exiv2 (and is built on top of it). Using python's built-in data types and
standard modules, it provides easy manipulation of image metadata.
Radius Engine is a Lua script-based real-time 2D graphics engine designed
for rapidly prototyping games. Built on top of SDL and OpenGL,
games made with Radius Engine are portable to both Windows and Linux.
This is a GLX port of the Really Slick Screensavers collection
(http://www.reallyslick.com/). Also included are several other OpenGL
screensavers ported from other platforms.
The screensavers can either be run as stand-alone applications or get
integrated into XScreenSaver's list of active screensavers.
Scale2x is real-time graphics effect able to increase the size of small
bitmaps guessing the missing pixels without interpolating pixels and
blurring the images.
SharpConstruct is a 3D modeling program designed to paint depth on
to polygon models in real-time. Unlike traditional modeling programs,
SharpConstruct makes it easy to model organic shapes. There is no
need to even look at a wireframe (unless you want to). Instead, the
model is manipulated much like clay - push or pull an area, smooth
it, make a hollow or a hill. The entire process is both simple and
organic; you won't need years of modeling experience to create
detailed models in SharpConstruct.
SmillaEnlarger is a small graphical tool (based on Qt 4) for resizing and,
especially, magnification of bitmap images in high quality using specially
created algorithm.
Visprint makes fractal fingerprint png images based on the contents of any
file. The image will be different for almost every file with even slightly
different contents. Visprint uses the IFS fractal generation process,
pioneered by Michael Barnsley. It is a way to create images which are
self-similar to infinite depths. In other words, the picture is made up of
smaller versions of itself.
Xcftools is a set of fast command-line tools for extracting information
from the Gimp's native file format XCF. The tools are designed to allow
efficient use of layered XCF files as sources in a build system that use
'make' and similar tools to manage automatic processing of the graphics.
These tools work independently of the Gimp engine and do not require the
Gimp to even be installed.
XPaint is a color image editing tool which features most standard paint
program options. It allows for the editing of multiple images simultaneously
and supports various formats, including PPM, XBM, TIFF, etc.
Peps will preprocess encapsulated Postscript files for conversion by
Ghostscript into bitmaps. It provides variable levels of resolution and
anti-aliasing. You can use it as a stand-alone Postscript-to-bitmap
conversion program, or use it on-line to create bitmaps on the fly and send
them out to a web browser, even compressing them if the browser supports
gzip compression.
Xpeps is peps with X11 support.
