Cactid is a poller for Cacti that primarily strives to be as fast as
possible. For this reason it is written in native C, makes use of POSIX
threads, and is linked directly against the net-snmp library for
minmumal SNMP polling overhead. Cactid is a replacement for the default
cmd.php poller so you must decide if using Cactid makes sense for your
installation.

A module to allow everyone to access config files in a fairly standard
way. Uses XML::XPath and XML::Simple to parse our XML files, and
stores all configs it has access to in this module.
This module supports the ability to retrieve data from several
different models of TL1 devices. Explictly supported devices
include the following:

* Nortel OME 6500
* Nortel HDXc
* Ciena CoreDirector
* Infinera DTC
* Fujitsu FLASHWAVE 7500
Each specifically supported device has its own
GRNOC::TL1::Device module, which sets the default port and
prompt used for that device. They also may each export their
own unique commands on top of what is already provided in
GRNOC::TL1::Device. Raw commands and output can be sent and
received, or output can be parsed via the parse function, or
by calling a function for that device.
Portmon is a network service monitoring daemon. Portmon
basically uses a list of hosts and port numbers, and tries to
connect to each host on the list at a regular time interval. It
is a lightweight program, and requires no software to be
installed on the machines one wishes to monitor.
Remote Arpwatch collects ARP tables from remote devices using SNMP and
checks them for changes. It is very useful for detecting problems and
malicious users in networks with routers that don't support static
ARP tables.
Slate: simple traffic analysis and data reporting collection server for LFAP
This package contains a small Lightweight Flow Accounting (LFAP)
server and LFAP API library. LFAP open solution to delivering
accounting data from Riverstone Networks Switches and Routers.
You can use the sfas program to obtain micro-flow information from
a Riverstone switch running either in Layer 4 bridging mode, routing
or MPLS LSPs. Data that can be collected includes everything from
an IPv4 header and UDP headers and the src/dst port from a TCP
header.
Softflowd is flow-based network traffic analyser capable of Cisco NetFlow
data export. Softflowd semi-statefully tracks traffic flows recorded by
listening on a network interface or by reading a packet capture file.
These flows may be reported via NetFlow to a collecting host or summarised
within softflowd itself.
flowd is a small, fast and secure NetFlow collector. It offers the following
features:
* Understands NetFlow protocol v.1, v.5, v.7 and v.9 (including IPv6 flows)
* Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 transport of flows
* Secure: flowd is privilege separated to limit the impact of any compromise
