The Exim monitor (eximon) is a graphical user interface for the Exim
mail transfer agent for Unix systems. Eximon is distributed as part
of the standard Exim distribution, but its dependency on XFree86
annoys many administrators.
For this reason, it is available as its own package to allow
administrators to easily install Exim without installing XFree86.
These are a collection of subroutines that encapsulate much of the
format-specific and tedious details of the JAM message base format.
The idea is that application programmers by using these routines can
concentrate on the more high-level issues of their programs instead
of worrying about their JAM routines.
mu is a tool for dealing with e-mail messages stored in the
Maildir-format, on Unix-like systems. mu's main purpose is to help you
to find the messages you need, quickly; in addition, it allows you to
view messages, extract attachments, create new maildirs, ...
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) library and client in C.
SPF is a standard under development for email envelope sender
verification. Domain owners can specify who is qualified to send
mail for the domain by publishing SPF TXT records in DNS.

listadmin is a command-line alternative to Mailman's Web interface
for administering mailing lists. It allows you to inspect messages
or subscription requests, approve or discard them manually, or
discard messages automatically when certain conditions are true.
listadmin can also be configured to run out of cron to do routine cleaning.
Mailmgr is a Sendmail Analisys Report Generator.
The html reports contain the following informations:
Username
messages sent
messages received
bytes sent
bytes received
Messages from with date, time and bytes per user
Messages to with date, time and bytes per user
mbox2mdir is a small program to convert mail stored in UNIX mbox format to
qmail's Maildir format. It can (optionally) also truncate the source mbox file
upon successful conversion. I use it to move mail delivered by /bin/mail or
sendmail to qmail Maildir folders, but of course there are many other possible
uses for it.
OfflineIMAP synchronizes emails between two repositories,
so that you can read the same mailbox from multiple computers.
It supports IMAP as REMOTE repository and Maildir/IMAP
as LOCAL repository.
OfflineIMAP is also useful if you want to use a mail reader
that does not have IMAP support, has poor IMAP support,
or does not provide disconnected operation.
OpenSMTPD is a FREE implementation of the server-side SMTP protocol as
defined by RFC 5321, with some additional standard extensions. It
allows ordinary machines to exchange e-mails with other systems
speaking the SMTP protocol.
This port packages the development snapshots released by OpenSMTPD team.
Dovecot is a secure and compact IMAP server which is in the early stages
of development. It supports Maildirs and mbox formats and much of the
IMAP v4 protocol including SSL/TLS. IPv6 support is also included.
Dovecot supports authentication with OpenLDAP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, vpopmail
and PAM.
