Xaric is a UNIX irc client similer to BitchX or ircII. I would impress you
with a list of features, but since it has no impressive features (and lacks
a few important ones) that probably is not a good
idea. The whole reason for Xaric was to remove all of the bogus, broken crap
and silly features from BitchX and have a nice colorful client.
junkfilter is a set of interlaced procmail scripts whose purpose is
to filter spam, or junk email. It requires nothing other than
procmail, and takes no overt action upon classifying a message. All
action is left up to the user, although examples are provided.

numerous header checks

an address filter
a dialup filter
a domain filter
an IP filter

Basically, XBuffy (and Xmultibiff) is a XBiff-type program with a lot
of new options. With XBuffy you can watch multiple mailboxes. When
new mail arrives, you can have a pop up window showing the From: and
Subject: lines. You can also set it up to launch your favorite mail
reader when you click on a box. Currently. xbuffy is only capable of
watching mailboxes with the standard mailbox format (messages separated
with a From line).
This is version 3.2.1.
Asymptote is a powerful script-based vector graphics language that
provides a natural coordinate-based framework for technical drawing.
Labels and equations are typeset with LaTeX, for high-quality
PostScript output.
A major advantage of Asymptote over other graphics packages is that
it is a programming language, as opposed to just a graphics program:
it can therefore exploit the best features of script (command-driven)
and graphical user interface (GUI) methods.
chord2html is a small Perl script to convert CHORD input files (the .chopro
files in OLGA) to HTML. The HTML files are similar to the PostScript documents
produced by CHORD; chord2html reads a text file containing the lyrics and
chords of a song to produce a page with chord names above the words and a
graphical representation of the chords at the end of the songs.
Drawterm(8) is not a Plan 9 program. It is a program that users of
non-Plan 9 systems can use to establish graphical cpu(1) connections with
Plan 9 CPU servers. Just as a real Plan 9 terminal does, drawterm serves
its local name space as well as some devices (the keyboard, mouse, and
screen) to a remote CPU server, which mounts this name space on /mnt/term
and starts a shell. Typically, either explicitly or via the profile, one
uses the shell to start rio(1).
The Nmap::Parser library provides a Ruby interface to
Nmap's scan data. It can run Nmap and parse its XML
output directly from the scan, parse a file containing
the XML data from a separate scan, parse a String of
XML data from a scan, or parse XML data from an object
via its read() method. This information is presented
in an easy-to-use and intuitive fashion for storage
and manipulation.
pkcs11-gateway is a software that allows you to use a Linux 32-bit PKCS#11
module on FreeBSD i386/amd64.
It consists of a FreeBSD Cryptoki wrapper library that serializes and forwards
PKCS#11 function calls to a Linux server program that dlopen() and use the
real module. The communication between the two components is via a UNIX socket.
pkcs11-gateway is based on the rpc-layer of Gnome Keyring.
Wcd is a command-line program to change directory fast. It saves time typing
at the keyboard. One needs to type only a part of a directory name and wcd
will jump to it. Wcd has a fast selection method in case of multiple matches
and allows aliasing and banning of directories. Wcd also includes a full
screen interactive directory tree browser with speed search.
The FreeSBIE port is a collection of scripts which
help a user to create CDs/DVDs containing a complete
operating system based on FreeBSD.
It is used as "live-cd" and boots straight from CD.
Consequent use of filesystem compressing techniques allow to
include a huge number of applications on a single disc.
Creation of the CDs/DVDs is completely dialog based as well as
building and installing of packages.
