Libev is a high-performance event loop/event model with lots of features. It is modelled (very loosely) after libevent and the Event perl module, but aims to be faster and more correct, and also more featureful. And also smaller.

libevdev is a wrapper library for evdev devices. It moves the common tasks when dealing with evdev devices into a library and provides a library interface to the callers, thus avoiding erroneous ioctls, etc. The eventual goal is that libevdev wraps all ioctls available to evdev devices, thus making direct access unnecessary.

Libewf is a library for support of the Expert Witness Compression Format (EWF), it support both the SMART (EWF-S01) and EnCase (EWF-E01) format. Libewf allows you to read and write EWF files. Recent versions also support the LEV (EWF-L01) format.
