nanoc is a simple but very flexible static site generator written in Ruby. It operates on local files, and therefore does not run on the server. nanoc "compiles" the local source files into HTML (usually), by evaluating eRuby, Markdown, etc.

The Markup Validation Service from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), this is so the markup validator can be installed on a web server along with all of the validator's dependencies.

IceGenerator is a direct streaming generator for Icecast/Shoutcast. It runs as a daemon.Three child processes handle all the stuff. A fourth (optional) child cares about telnet communication. Main idea for this program is radio automation on a Icecast/Shoutcast server. If you have many server processes and CPU saving is your priority, u can use IceGenerator. Sndio is a small audio and MIDI framework part of the OpenBSD project. It provides an lightweight audio & MIDI server and a fully documented user-space API to access either the server or directly the hardware in a uniform way. Sndio is designed to work for desktop applications, but pays special attention to synchronization mechanisms and reliability required by music applications. Reliability through simplicity are part of the project goals.

The AnimeNfo client with GTK support. configuration.txt contains the configuration for server and port. It will be read automatically by the program at beginning of execution, so you don't have to fill the server and port value every time manually. ftp.proxy is an application level gateway for FTP. It sits between a client and a server forwarding command and data streams supporting a subset of the file transfer protocol as described in RFC 959. Beside this basic function which makes the program useful on firewall or masqueraders it offers fixing the FTP server (e.g. for connections into a protected LAN) and proxy authentication. -Philippe philippe@le-berre.com

Nocc is a Web-based e-mail reader. It uses PHP and a Web server to access a mail server (POP3, IMAP) and send e-mail (SMTP or plain sendmail). Nocc can be used as an e-mail reader and allows you to view, send messages, manage your mail account. It can view and send MIME attachments (files, HTML, etc.). Nocc has low requirements on browser, it uses JavaScript as less as possible, nearly no frames and even works with Lynx without cookies.

spamdyke is a filter for monitoring and intercepting SMTP connections between a remote host and a qmail server. Spam is blocked while the remote server (spammer) is still connected; no additional processing or storage is needed. In addition to all of its anti-spam filters, spamdyke also includes a number of features to enhance qmail. Best of all, using spamdyke does not require patching or recompiling qmail!
