nekobee is a DSSI soft synth plugin that emulates the sound of the
TB-303 Bassline. It is not an exact copy; rather than make it "just like
the real thing", the design concentrates on modelling the circuitry and
was adjusted by comparing the sounds achievable with it to those heard
on classic acid house tracks. It includes a switchable square/saw wave
VCO, 24dB/octave VCF, an adjustable decay time for the VCF, a fixed
decay time for the VCA, and an interesting bit of circuitry around the
"Accent" control.
Normalize is an overly complicated tool for adjusting the volume of
wave files to a standard volume level. This is useful for things like
creating mp3 mixes, where different recording levels on different
albums can cause the volume to vary greatly from song to song.
This is a port of Nosefart, a player for the NSF sound format, which
describes music taken from Nintendo Entertainment System game cartridges
in a compact form.
NSPmod is a MOD (Protracker module and some of its extensions) / S3M
(Scream Tracker 3 module) / MTM (Multitracker module) music player.
This program uses a technology called No Signal Processor (NSP), which
enables your PC play MODs without DSP such as Gravis UltraSound (GUS)
GF1.
This program requires VoxWare v2.90 compatible 8bit DAC device.
I, John-Mark Gurney, have added support for output in 16bits. The
volume level is slightly less than the 8bit version though.
This module provides an interface for extracting data from CDDB-format data
files, as used by freedb.
It does not read data from your CD, or submit information to freedb.
ogg2mp3 is a perl script that converts Ogg Vorbis files into MP3 format.
The idea behind OpenAL is a 3d positional spatialized sound library analogous
to OpenGL: instead of micromanaging each aspect of sound playback and effect,
the application writer may limit themselves to placing the sounds in the
scene and letting the native OpenAL implementation determine the correct
amount of pitch alteration, gain attenuation, phase shift, etc, required to
render the sounds correctly.
That's the goal, anyway.
MPEG::ID3v2Tag is a Perl module capable of parsing and creating
ID3v2 revision 3 tags. While not all frames are fully supported,
it's easy to add support for more.
Opus-tools provides command-line utilities to encode, inspect, and
decode .opus files.
Library for decoding .opus files, including seeking support.
