pylize is a presentation generation tool. Among its features are: * generates a template master document * creates a set of HTML slides from the master document * automatically creates the table of contents and distributes it to serveral slides if necessary * a nice CSS driven slide layout, including logo, navigation links, progress-bar etc. * easy navigation by accesskeys and single-key presses (through JavaScript) * easy changing of layout through templates * all information for a presentation in one master file, but configurable through a per-user options file * fully localized

tcping does a TCP connect to the given ip/port combination. The user can specify a timeout in seconds. This is useful in shell scripts running in firewalled environments. Often SYNs are just being dropped by firewalls, thus connection establishment will be retried several times (for minutes) until a TCP timeout is reached. With tcping it is possible to check first if the desired port is reachable and then start connection establishment.

pkg_rmleaves finds packages that are not required (depended on) by any other installed package and lets you decide (in a beautiful dialog interface) for each one if you want to keep it or deinstall it.

This is the callable library version of CRM114. It has most of the classifiers as the standalone language. This version is LGPLed (Library GPL) so you can link it with your own code, whether open-source or proprietary. You still need TRE. Note that with improvements come costs: libcrm114 classifiers are NOT compatible with standalone CRM114 class files.

A plugin for the Trac project/source code management system that creates Gantt charts based on ticket reports. It is a work-in-progress. A Gantt chart is a graphical representation of the duration of tasks against the progression of time. Gantt charts are very useful for planning a scheduling a project based on different tasks that will need to be completed and their durations and dependencies on other tasks. The TracGantt plugin uses Trac's ticketing system to generate Gantt charts based on existing Trac Ticket Reports (found under the "View Tickets" tab in Trac). The Gantt charts are pure XHTML and are generated on-the-fly from the ticket reports, using only the tickets provided by the report.

NBTscan is a program for scanning IP networks for NetBIOS name information. It sends NetBIOS status query to each address in supplied range and lists received information in human readable form. For each responded host it lists IP address, NetBIOS computer name, logged-in user name and MAC address.

Internationalized Domain Name toolkit 2 (idnkit-2) provides useful APIs (libraries) for application developers to make softwares IDNA2008-compliant, and also provides tools for system administrators to process IDNs appropriately according to IDNA2008 specification. The idnkit-2 is a toolkit revised by JPRS from the idnkit-1.0 developed by JPNIC, and it is released as an open source free software modified to comply with IDNA2008. idnkit-2 consists from its main part written in C and additional API packages for other languages (Java, Python, and Perl).
