CUPS Cloud Print is a Google Cloud Print driver for UNIX-like operating
systems. It allows any application which prints via CUPS to print to
Google Cloud Print directly.
CUPS smb backend allows *nix users to print
to Windows-attached printers via smbspool
program, which comes with Samba.
This is a filter that converts text files to PostScript, RTF, or HTML
and then spools generated output to a printer or dumps it to a file.
Input files in a number of programming languages, including C, Perl,
Tcl, and more, can optionally be pretty-printed instead of printed as
plain-text. Many printing options are available.
foomatic is a collection of printer drivers that can be
used by gimp-print and cups among others.
A small library for rendering Postscript documents
GL2PS is a C library providing high quality vector output for any OpenGL
application. The main difference between GL2PS and other similar libraries
is the use of sorting algorithms capable of handling intersecting and
stretched polygons, as well as non manifold objects. GL2PS provides advanced
smooth shading and text rendering, culling of invisible primitives, mixed
vector/bitmap output, and much more...
GL2PS can currently create PostScript (PS), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS)
and Portable Document Format (PDF) files, as well as LATEX files for the
text fragments.
GNU gv allows to view and navigate through PostScript and PDF documents on
an X display by providing a user interface for the ghostscript interpreter.
Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer for the Linux platform, with a new
streamlined interface, user-customized toolbar, incredibly small size,
breezing-fast launch speed and rich features. This empowers PDF document users
with Zoom function, Navigation function, Bookmarks, Thumbnails, Text Selection
Tool, Snapshot, and Full Screen capabilities. Foxit Reader for Desktop Linux
is provided by Foxit Corporation free for non-commercial use.
hp2xx reads HPGL ASCII source files, interprets them, and
converts them into either another vector-oriented format
or one of several rasterfile formats. Currently, its HPGL
parser recognizes a subset of the HP 7550A command set.
Some high-level functions like filled polygons are missing
Also, only the basic fixed character set 0 is supported
Besides these limitations, hp2xx has proven to work with
many HP-GL sources without any trouble.
It allows conversion from HPGL to:
mf (MetaFont), eps (PostScript), pcl (HP-PCL Level3),
pre(view), pcx (PaintBrush-Format), img (GEM),
pic (ATARI bitmap), pbm (Portable Bitmap),
png (Portable Network Graphics), ...
HarfBuzz is an OpenType text shaping engine.
