Puddletag is a audio tag editor similar to Windows program Mp3tag. Unlike most taggers, it uses a spreadsheet-like layout so that all the tags you want to edit by hand are visible and easily editable. Supported formats: ID3v1, ID3v2 (mp3), MP4 (mp4, m4a, etc.), VorbisComments (ogg, flac), Musepack (mpc), Monkey's Audio (.ape) and WavPack (wv)

Qsynth is a fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt toolkit using Qt Designer. Eventually it may evolve into a softsynth management application allowing the user to control and manage a variety of command line softsynth but for the moment it wraps the excellent FluidSynth.

SoundTracker is a pattern-oriented music editor (similar to the classic DOS program FastTracker and the Amiga legend ProTracker). DIAMOND is a BLAST-compatible local aligner for mapping protein and translated DNA query sequences against a protein reference database (BLASTP and BLASTX alignment mode). The speedup over BLAST is up to 20,000 on short reads at a typical sensitivity of 90-99% relative to BLAST depending on the data and settings.
