abcMIDI is James Allwright's collection of abc <-> MIDI conversion utilities, plus YAPS to convert abc files to PostScript for printing music scores. midi2abc - program to convert MIDI format files to abc notation. abc2midi - converts abc file to MIDI file(s). abc2abc - a simple abc checker/re-formatter/transposer. mftext - gives a verbose description of what is in a MIDI file. yaps - an abc to PostScript converter. Also includes: abcguide.txt - how to write abc files for these programs demo.abc - a collection of sample abc tunes Check ${PREFIX}/share/doc/abcmidi/ for these and other docs. The abc format is plain text, but you might optionally install a MIDI player (timidity) and a PostScript viewer (gv with ghostscript).

Mp3 gstreamer plugin from fluendo

gtkguitune is a program for tuning guitars and other instruments. Rather than using FFT like many programs, it counts the number of triggerings between two trigger levels in a certain amount of time, which tends to be more accurate for instrument tuning while requiring less processing than FFT.

This is an add-on to enable editing ID3 tag by typing `E' in mpg123-mode's (ports/audio/mpg123.el) buffer on Emacsen. Put the expression below into your ~/.emacs. (load "id3.el")

Mp3Tag is a ruby module that handles ID3v1.1 tags in MP3 files. It can read ID3v1.0 and ID3v1.1 but only write ID3v1.1 tags. It can save new tags and remove tags.

libbpm is a C-library which contains low level beam position monitor (BPM) signal processing routines. It's aim is to form a complete set of routines needed to handle RF Cavity BPM data, from digital downmixing, sampling, calibrating analysing and simulating BPM data. This library has been developed in the context of the BPM work done by the accelerator physics groups at University College London, Royal Holloway University of London and the University of Cambridge (UK) (2006-2008)
