Parse::Method::Signatures is a Perl6 like method signature parser inspired by
Perl6::Signature but streamlined to just support the subset deemed useful for
TryCatch and MooseX::Method::Signatures.
This Perl module is useful for writers of daemons and other processes
that need to tell whether they are already running, in order to
prevent multiple process instances. The module accomplishes this
via *nix-style pidfiles, which are files that store a process
identifier.
Inspired by Proc::PID_File, but with a much simpler interface.
Path::Class::File::Lockable uses simple files to indicate
whether a file is locked or not.
It does not use flock(), since that is unstable over NFS.
Effort has been made to avoid race conditions.
Path::Class::File::Lockable is intended for long-standing locks,
as in a Subversion workspace. See SVN::Class for example.
sugary dispatcher for perl
This module iterates over files and directories to identify ones
matching a user-defined set of rules. The API is based heavily on
File::Find::Rule, but with more explicit distinction between matching
rules and options that influence how directories are searched. A
Path::Iterator::Rule object is a collection of rules (match criteria)
with methods to add additional criteria. Options that control
directory traversal are given as arguments to the method that
generates an iterator.
Policies that were formally included with Perl::Critic itself, but which have
been superseded by others.
Perl::Metrics::Lite is the pluggable perl code metrics system.
Perl::Metrics::Lite provides just enough methods to run static
analysis of one or many Perl files and obtain a few metrics.
Perl::Metrics::Lite is far simpler than Perl::Metrics and more
extensible than Perl::Metrics::Simple.
Perl::Metrics::Simple provides just enough methods to run static
analysis of one or many Perl files and obtain a few metrics: packages,
subroutines, lines of code, and an approximation of cyclomatic
(mccabe) complexity for the subroutines and the "main" portion of the
code.
Perl::Metrics::Simple is far simpler than Perl::Metrics.
Installs a script called countperl.
Perl::PrereqScanner::Lite is the lightweight prereqs scanner for perl.
This scanner uses Compiler::Lexer as tokenizer, therefore processing
speed is really fast.
