SciMark 2.0 is a Java benchmark for scientific and numerical computing.
It measures several computational kernels and reports a composite score
in approximate Mflops (Millions of floating point operations per second).
Results of this benchmark can be sent to pozo@nist.gov and are listed at
<http://math.nist.gov/cgi-bin/ScimarkSummary>;.
FidoCadJ is an easy to use graphical editor, with a library of electrical
symbols and footprints (traditional and SMD). It aims to be an agile and
effective small EDA tool for hobbyists.
FidoCadJ stores its drawings in a compact text format, practical for the
copy and paste in newsgroups and forums: this has determined its success
on the Usenet and in numerous communities.
PyCAM is a toolpath generator for 3-axis CNC machining. It loads
3D models in STL format or 2D contour models from DXF or SVG files.
The resulting GCode can be used with EMC2 or any other machine
controller.
PyCAM supports a wide range of toolpath strategies for 3D models
and 2D contour models.
HackRF One from Great Scott Gadgets is a Software Defined Radio peripheral
capable of transmission or reception of radio signals from 10 MHz to 6 GHz.
Designed to enable test and development of modern and next generation radio
technologies, HackRF One is an open source hardware platform that can
be used as a USB peripheral or programmed for stand-alone operation.
The overall goal of this project is to make an open source
implementation of the Object Exchange (OBEX) protocol. OBEX is a
session protocol and can best be described as a binary HTTP protocol.
It's used mainly for Infrared and Bluetooth communication.
Amateur Radio DSP utility (SDR)
Linrad receives a signal in digital form by reading a device. Currently Linrad
operates by sampling sound on line-in channel of an audio card. In the future
boards sampling directly at RF frequencies will be available.
This is a powerful program at which you can throw a mess of
unordered files in any of BinHex, uuencoded, xxencoded,
Base64, or yEnc formats and expect them all to be properly
decoded. These formats are frequently encountered when sending
binary files via news or mail.
Mojo::Pg is a tiny wrapper around DBD::Pg that makes PostgreSQL a lot of fun to
use with the Mojolicious real-time web framework.
Database handles are cached automatically, so they can be reused transparently
to increase performance. And you can handle connection timeouts gracefully by
holding on to them only for short amounts of time.
The DBD::Mock perl module is a simple mock DBD implementation used for testing.
It's entirely self-contained so that you can extract the single library file
(DBD/Mock.pm), put it in your own distribution and be able to run DBI-based
tests even though you don't have information about a database.
This module automatically inflates/deflates DateTime objects
corresponding to applicable columns. Columns may also be
defined to specify their nature, such as columns representing a
creation time (set at time of insertion) or a modification time
(set at time of every update).
