p5-libsoldout is a perl module to access the C library libsoldout. The initial version just implements functions to convert markdown input to html including strict markdown, discount markdown and specific extensions only available in libsoldout.

From the README: libxml-perl is a collection of smaller Perl modules, scripts, and documents for working with XML in Perl. libxml-perl software works in combination with XML::Parser, PerlSAX, XML::DOM, XML::Grove and others.

pod2pdf converts documents written in Perl's POD (Plain Old Documentation) format to PDF files.

The Horde_Text_Filter_Csstidy:: class provides the PHP-based library needed to perform optimization/compression on CSS code. It is provided in a separate package as the code is under the GPLv2 license instead of the LGPLv2 license used for the Text_Filter class.

TeXcount is a Perl script that counts the number of words in the text of LaTeX files. It has rules for handling most of the common macros and provides colour coded output indicating which parts have been counted.

[ excerpt from developer's website ] XMLTV is a set of programs to process TV (tvguide) listings and manage your TV viewing. It stores the listings in an XML-based format. The idea is to separate out the backend (getting the listings) from the frontend (displaying them for the user), and to implement useful operations like picking out your favourite programmes as filters that read and write XML documents.

cmark is the C reference implementation of CommonMark, a rationalized version of Markdown syntax with a spec. It provides a shared library (libcmark) with functions for parsing CommonMark documents to an abstract syntax tree (AST), manipulating the AST, and rendering the document to HTML, groff man, LaTeX, CommonMark, or an XML representation of the AST. It also provides a command-line program (cmark) for parsing and rendering CommonMark documents.

pdfoutline adds outlines (aka bookmarks) to PDF files. It reads input file given as first argument, adds outlines from text file given as second argument, and saves result to file with name given as third argument.

This is a port of pdftohtml, which converts pdf-files into nicely formatted html, combined with png images. The HTML generated uses frames to emulate the content listing from the pdf.
