LinCity is an SVGALIB and X based city/country simulation game for Linux.
(Solaris 2.5, FreeBSD, HP_UX, AIX and IRIX are ALPHA at this time, but have
been reported to work - sometimes needing a tweak to the Makefile[s].)
You are required to build and maintain a city. You must feed, house,
provide jobs and goods for your residents. You can build a sustainable
economy with the help of renewable energy and recycling, or you can go for
broke and build rockets to escape from a pollution ridden and resource
starved planet, it's up to you. Due to the finite resources available in any
one place, this is not a game that you can leave for long periods of time.
Pacman Arena is a Pacman clone in full 3D with a few surprises.
Rockets, bombs and explosions abound.
A Pacman clone gone mad

SuperTuxKart is a Free 3d kart racing game; we want to make the
game fun more than we want to make it realistic. You can play with
up to 4 friends on one PC racing against each other, or just try
to beat the computer.
See the great lighthouse or drive through the sand and visit the
pyramids. Race under water or in space, watching the stars passing
by. Have some rest under the palms on the beach (watching the other
karts overtaking you :) ). But don't fall in the volcano.
You can do a single race against other karts, compete in one of
several Grand Prix, or try to beat the high score in time trials
on your own.

Warzone 2100 is a real-time strategy game, developed by Pumpkin Studios and
published by Eidos-Interactive. Although comparable to Earth2150 in many
significant respects, it does contain aspects that are unique. These include
various radar technologies, a greater focus on artillery and counter-battery
technologies, more frequent in-game cinematic updates as gameplay progress, as
well as a different vehicle design method. It was released in 1999 for both PC
and Playstation.
In late 2004 warzone was released by its copyright holders, Eidos-Interactive,
to the public under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and the Warzone 2100
Resurrection Project was born.
Garden of coloured lights is an old school 2D vertical shoot-em-up
with some innovative elements. Innovative graphics, soundtrack and
game concept. The game itself is very challenging and as you progress,
you will understand that you are dealing with a true piece of art...
This (set of) program(s) will help you solve a certain kind of puzzle. Namely
puzzles that are made out of square or dice shaped units, spheres or prisms
with an equilateral triangle as base and where the pieces are also aligned
along those grids in the solutions.
Old-school, puzzle game similar to Solomon's Key, but with modern
features.
Magicor is a puzzle game using "fancy" 2D graphics. The objective
is to extinguish fires using blocks of ice. Levels may have one or
more solutions, but thinking ahead is the key to victory in Magicor.
Mars, Land of No Mercy is a turn-based strategy game setting on Mars during the
early stages of human colonization. The player embodies the leader of a
mercenary team, landed on Mars to take advantage of conqueror battles between
the Worldwide Colonizer Corporations.
The main purpose is to command his team trying to find them commissions,
training and leading them in battle, while still being aware of financial and
instrumental resources by administering them. The Mech is the fundamental craft
used by mercenaries, but they won't lack of other kind of units, as well as
troops.
The game most remarkable point is the incredible liberty given to the player
and therefore the great strategic side that derives. It is indeed up to the
player to decide how to behave towards the one who recruited him, and the
enemies of turn.
Basically every action leads to a reaction, so it is strongly recommended to
keep a good and consistent behavior to achieve confidence from Corporations,
and avoid being excluded by them.
