XTux Arena is a client server network game for X11 featuring opensource mascots. Players can compete in a multiplayer deathmatch mode (called holywar) or play against the computer (cooperative multiplayer supported) in a mission against Microsoft.

This package contains the current stable release of the client drivers for the DRI. With an X Server configured for the DRI they allow direct rendering of hardware-accelerated OpenGL.

This software is supposed to work as a "reference implementation" of the suggested "whoson" internet protocol. The protocol is expected to be employed on "spam relay protected" mail servers to allow traveling customers still send their email via the protected server. For this, a realtime database of "temporarily trusted" IP addresses is maintained by a special daemon program. The database may be filled by, e.g. POP/IMAP servers, and used by SMTP server. Another possible use of the protocol is to have the database filled by RADIUS/TACACS server for all dialup clients, and SMTP server using it to put the user identity into the "Received" header along with the source IP address. The protocol itself is defined in a separate document "whoson.txt".

Uptime Client is a little program that keeps track of your uptime and sends it to a server where you can compare it to many other hosts and browse through various statistical information.

Gale is an open-source messaging system. It provides private messaging and public chat, uses strong end-to-end cryptography for security, and supports a distributed server network with a range of clients (both console and GUI) available.

Chillispot is used for authenticating users of a wireless LAN. It support WPA (Wireless Protected Access) encryption. Authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) is handled by your favorite radius server.

This is a lightweight but well-featured tool for collecting NetFlow version 5 packets from Cisco routers. The implementation includes a simple UDP-to-TCP converting server, which may be used to replicate NetFlow data to multiple clients.

VMPS (VLAN Management Policy Server) is a way of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs based on the MAC address of connecting device. OpenVMPS is a GPL implementation of VMPS.

ntop is a flexible and feature-rich tool for monitoring and troubleshooting local area networks. It provides command line and web interfaces, the latter via an embedded web server. ntop is based on libpcap.
