Automating command line interface (CLI) interactions is not a new idea, but can be tricky to implement. This module aims to provide a simple and manageable interface to CLI interactions, supporting: - SSH, Telnet and Serial-Line connections - Unix and Windows support - Reuseable device command phrasebooks

This is a Perl 5 module that retrieves and parses information from the InterNIC 'whois' database. If you are behind a firewall, you probably won't be able to use this module. This version supports only the information about domains. Future work may include information about people and other entities about which the InterNIC keeps data.

POE::Component::Jabber is a module that simplies for the POE developer, access to the Jabber protocol through the use of one of the four Client classes. With built in events for common Jabber packets, all a POE developer need do is provide an event and arguments for most events so the responses to the requests can be properly handled by the coder.

This is a fork of amqplib which was originally written by Barry Pederson. It is maintained by the Celery project, and used by kombu as a pure python alternative when librabbitmq is not available. This library should be API compatible with librabbitmq.

Sup is a program used for upgrading collections of files from other machines to your machine. You execute sup, the client program, which talks over the network using IP/TCP to a file server process. The file server process cooperates with sup to determine which files of the collection need to be upgraded on your machine.

tcpshow reads a tcpdump(1) savefile and provides a reasonably complete decode of Ethernet, IP, ICMP, UDP and TCP headers. Boolean expressions may also be specified for packet selection. Data within the packets are displayed in ASCII. tcpshow's output is simular to Sun Solaris's snoop(1M) command for network packet capture and inspection.

Xrdesktop2 is a GTK2-Perl frontend for Rdesktop, which allows for the saving, and editing of session configurations. Xrdesktop2's intent is to handle Rdesktop's available commandline options, by presenting them in a [Perl/GTK2] GUI. Xrdesktop2 currently handles most any of the options you're likely to be interested in. Future versions will undoubtedly add more.

Pan is a newsreader, loosely based on Agent and Gravity, which attempts to be pleasant to use for new and advanced users alike. It has all the typical features found in newsreaders, and also supports offline reading, multiple connections, and a number of features for power users and alt.binaries fans.

This package contains implentations of the Free Standards Group (FSG) Open Printing API (PAPI) (v1.0) and client software that uses it. The implemenations of the API are designed so that they can be used individually to support client application interaction with a particular type of print service or together to interact with a variety of different print service types.

This program reads /var/db/pkg/local.sqlite and compares install timestamp with date in $FreeBSD header in the Makefile of the port. If there is no $FreeBSD header then it is assumed to be a beta port. Chucky also features a shar file backup feature, which is normally used to backup 'beta' development ports.
