APSW is a Python wrapper for the SQLite embedded relational database
engine. In contrast to other wrappers such as pysqlite it focuses
on being a minimal layer over SQLite attempting just to translate
the complete SQLite API into Python. The documentation has a section
on the differences between APSW and pysqlite. APSW supports CPython
2.3 onwards and CPython 3.1 onwards.

YASQL is an open source Oracle command line interface.
YASQL features a much kinder alternative to SQL*Plus's user interface.
This is meant to be a complete replacement for SQL*Plus when dealing with
ad hoc queries and general database interfacing.

Disk Usage Analyzer is a graphical application to analyse disk usage in any
Gnome environment. Disk Usage Analyzer can easily scan device volumes or a
specific user-requested directory branch (local or remote).
Once the scan is complete Disk Usage Analyzer provides a graphical
representation of each selected folder.

gcalcli is a Python application that allows you to access you Google Calendar
from a command line. It's easy to get your agenda, search for events, and
quickly add new events. Additionally gcalcli can be used as a reminder service
to execute any application you want.
gaddr is a nice simple little address book written using the GTK+
widget set. It holds addresses and any other information you want to
know about a person. It basically acts like a pile of alphabetized
3x5 cards on which you can write whatever your little heart desires.
GBirthday is a birthday reminder application that helps you to remember
your Evolution, Thunderbird, Sunbird contacts' birthdays or from a MySQL
Server or a CSV File.
It puts an icon on notification area which will blink when there is any
of your contacts' birthday today. You can also check if there is any of
your contacs' birthday on next days.
