A fast and lightweight CLI (command line) BitTorrent client.
Transmission has been built from the ground up to be a lightweight, yet
powerful BitTorrent client. Its simple, intuitive interface is designed
to integrate tightly with whatever computing environment you choose to
use. Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality
without feature bloat. Furthermore, it is free for anyone to use or modify.
LibSwift is the reference UDP-based implementation of IETF RFC7574,
a multi-peer transport layer protocol. Its mission is to disseminate
content among a swarm of peers.
Given a root hash, the data is received from whatever source available
and data integrity is checked cryptographically with Merkle hash
trees.
sendfile(2) is a system call which provides a "zero-copy" way of copying data
from one file descriptor to another (a socket). The phrase "zero-copy" refers
to the fact that all of the copying of data between the two descriptors is
done entirely by the kernel, with no copying of data into userspace buffers.
Babel is a distance-vector routing protocol for
IPv6 and IPv4 with fast convergence properties.
It is based on the ideas in DSDV, AODV and
Cisco's EIGRP, but uses a variant of ETX
link cost estimation rather than a simple
hop-count metric.
The NLANR/DAST Multicast Beacon is a program written in Perl which uses
the RTP protocol to provide useful statistics and diagnostic information
about a given multicast group. The Multicast Beacon can be used as a
general-purpose active multicast measurement tool.
ExaDDOS is an application able to gather different data sources to present a
real time unified view of your network.
It can gather:
* SNMP information at your edge
* IPFIX export from your routers
And present it using a web interface. Our goal is to very quickly integrate
it with ExaBGP to allow a "one click" anti-DDOS solution.
FreeSWITCH is a scalable open source cross-platform telephony
platform designed to route and interconnect popular communication
protocols using audio, video, text or any other form of media. It
was created in 2006 to fill the void left by proprietary commercial
solutions. FreeSWITCH also provides a stable telephony platform
on which many applications can be developed using a wide range of
free tools.
Network-related giomodules for glib.
Glib-networking contains the implementations of certain GLib networking
features that cannot be implemented directly in GLib itself because of their
dependencies.
Currently it contains a GNUTLS-based implementation of GTlsBackend,
a libproxy-based implementation of GProxyResolver, and a GNOME GProxyResolver
that uses the proxy information from the GSettings schemas in
gsettings-desktop-schemas.
iplog is a TCP/IP traffic logger. Currently, it is capable of logging
TCP, UDP and ICMP traffic, though adding support for other protocols
should be relatively easy. iplog contains a built-in packet filter,
allowing for logging or excluding packets that fit a given set of
criteria.
IP Sorcery is a network troubleshooting and firewall testing tool. The
prorgram works by generating custom "packets" and sending them to a
target host. Thus testing the authenticity of firewall rules and host
verification. It also has a graphical user interface.
