Popular virtual window manager for X
Fvwm is a very famous window manager for X, which provides a
virtual/multiple disjoint desktop, a 3-D look for windows decorations,
shaped/color icons. It gives a very good emulation of mwm. A nice
button-bar can be used to provide convenient access to frequently used
functions or programs.

Window switcher, run dialog and dmenu replacement
A popup window switcher roughly based on superswitcher, requiring only xlib
and pango. This version started off as a clone of simpleswitcher, the
version from Sean Pringle. All credit for this great tool should go to him.
Rofi developed extra features, like a run-dialog, ssh-launcher and can
act as a drop-in dmenu replacement, making it a very versatile tool.
API abstraction to common Islamic calculations
The Islamic Tools and Libraries (ITL) is a project to provide a
plethora of useful Islamic tools and applications as well as a
comprehensive feature-full Islam-centric library. The ITL
project currently includes full lunar-centric time measurement
routines.
Retrieve weather information from wunderground.com
Weather::Underground is a perl module which provides a simple OO interface to
retrieving weather data for a geographic location. It does so by querying
wunderground.com and parsing the returned results.
AcoustID audio fingerprinting library
Chromaprint is the core component of the AcoustID project. It is
a client-side library that implements a custom algorithm for
extracting fingerprints from any audio source. Also included is
fpcalc, a small utility for calculating AcoustID fingerprints.
