The sys-cpu library provides an interface for gathering information about your
system's CPU. This includes not only technical data such as processor type, but
also CPU statistics, such as load average information.
It is part of a library of a set libraries for various system administration
tasks, such as gathering information about users, processes, your CPU, the
filesystem, and so on.
Simple FUSE filesystem for reading from and writing to MTP devices.
SIMPLE-MTPFS (Simple Media Transfer Protocol FileSystem) is a file system for
Linux (and other operating systems with a FUSE implementation, such as Mac OS X
or FreeBSD) capable of operating on files on MTP devices attached via USB to
local machine.
This is a package of utilities. Each utility sends a Serial Attached
SCSI (SAS) Serial Management Protocol (SMP) request to an SMP target.
If the request fails then the error is decoded. If the request succeeds
then the response is either decoded, printed out in hexadecimal or
output in binary.
Ssync is a minimalistic tool for keeping filesystems in synchronization.
The main goals in writing ssync are correctness, simplicity, speed,
low-resource comsumption and portability. It features a number of options
to control how things are synchronized and under what conditions, as well
as useful dry-run and verbose modes.
XCPUSTATE is a system monitor tool. It displays user-, system-,
idle-cputime in the form of a bar chart. On some systems it also
monitors disk performance.
It can also display information about remote hosts using the RSTAT RPC
protocol, as perfmeter does.
Sysinfo is a shell script, the purpose of which is to automatically
gather system information and document the hardware and software
configuration of the given host system. The goal is to provide a
system operator with descriptive information about an unknown FreeBSD
installation.
IPFS is a global, versioned, peer-to-peer filesystem. It combines good ideas
from Git, BitTorrent, Kademlia, SFS, and the Web. It is like a single
bittorrent swarm, exchanging git objects. IPFS provides an interface as simple
as the HTTP web, but with permanence built in.
LPRngTool is a configuration tool for LPRng. It provides a simple
Graphical User Interface that allows users to:
- create printer definitions and edit printcap files
- display the status of print queues and the printing system
- perform printing administration functions
start, stop and abort print jobs
enable and disable spooling to print queues
- configure print filters such as IFHP and the RedHat
print filters
The zisofs filesystem is an extension to the ISO9660 filesystem that allows
files, on a file-by-file basis, to be stored compressed and decompressed in
real time. The zisofs filesystem is supported by recent versions of Linux
(2.4.14 or later).
mkzftree - creates a zisofs/RockRidge compressed file tree
tren is a general purpose file and directory renaming tool. Unlike
commands like mv, tren is particularly well suited for renaming
batches of files and/or directories with a single command line
invocation. tren eliminates the tedium of having to script simpler
tools to provide higher-level renaming capabilities.
