Tags groups of audio files using CDDB.
TagLookup is a utility for tagging MP3s and other taggable audio file formats.
It inspects a set of audio files and uses their lengths to look up an
appropriate disc from a CDDB-compatible service. TagLookup can be used in two
modes:
* ID -- Given a CDDB ID and a number of files, look up the details of the CDDB
disc from a CDDB service. Tag files using the CDDB disc. Match each file with
each CDDB track using the closest track length.
* Sequence -- Given a number of files, generate a CDDB ID and query a CDDB
service. CDDB IDs are generated based on the sequence of tracks. Choose the
closest matching CDDB disc to tag the files.
As well as this, taglookup can:
* Rename -- Rename files based on their tags.
TiMidity is a software synthesizer. It can play MIDI files by converting them
into PCM waveform data; give it a MIDI data along with digital instrument data
files, then it synthesizes them in real-time, and plays. It can not only play
sounds, but also can save the generated waveforms into hard disks as various
audio file formats.
TiMidity 0.2i was written by Tuukka Toivonen <tt@cgs.fi> in 1995. No new version
of this project has been released since then. Development has been continued by
Masanao Izumo et al. in the new project named TiMidity++ (audio/timidity++).
This is a command line program to set the frequency and various
modes to an FM tuner using a Brooktree based card.

WildMIDI is a simple software midi player which has a core softsynth library
that can be used with other applications.
The WildMIDI library uses Gravis Ultrasound patch files to convert MIDI files
into audio which is them passed back to the calling application for further
processing or output. The API of the library is designed so that it is easy to
include WildMIDI into applications that wish to include MIDI file playback.
With multiple MIDI file support you can develop applications to mix several
midi files together at the same time and with the next release you will be
able to use a different patch set for each MIDI file.
The wildmidi player is a demonstration program to show the capabilities of
libWildMidi.
WindowMaker dockapp mixer that allows toggling record source, muting individual

TV-like on-screen-display for volume levels. Supports mousewheel to adjust
current channel volume, and can be controlled remotely with SIGUSR1 / SIGUSR2
to adjust the volume, too. Keeps a simple configuration file for user-defined
settings.
Improved version of wmmixer, an audio mixer for the WindowMaker dock.
This is xfce4-mixer, a volume control application for the Xfce Desktop
Environment. This software package contains both a volume control
plugin for the Xfce Panel and a standalone mixer application.
Xmcd is a program that allows the use of the CD-ROM drive as a
full-featured stereo compact-disc player for the X Window System.
Most of the features found on real CD players are available in
xmcd, such as shuffle and repeat, track programming functions, a
numeric keypad, and track warp slider for direct track access.
Additional functions include sample play, A to B segment play,
volume control, balance control, etc. Several automation options
