Game based on the "Sonic the Hedgehog" universe.
It introduces a different style of gameplay called cooperative play,
in which it's possible to control 3 characters simultaneously.
Unlike most similar games, Open Sonic provides a greater level of interaction
between the player and the levels. It's more than just a jump'n'run;
the user must come up with some strategy in order to get through the levels.
Stormbaan Coureur is the Linux game that was formerly known as
Sturmbahnfahrer. It is back with a larger track, more challenges,
many improvements in a PC (Politically Correct) edition. In this
game, it is all about the car Physics. If you want to master it,
try to have the laws of physics work with you, not against you.
Stormbaan Coureur is a game by Bram Stolk.
Twitch - a GPL arcade game by David Clark <silenus@telus.net>.
Twitch is an overhead 2-d shooter, reminiscent of games like Robotron or Tron:
Deadly Disks. The player has entered the fortress of the evil Hippopoticus,
and is trying to rescue the fair Lady Penelope from his clutches. I wrote
Twitch as a proof-of-concept: namely that Python, properly written, is fast
enough to create a playable, cross-platform arcade game.
GeoServer is a GIS server. It is open source and
it allows users to view and edit geographic data.
GeoServer is a fully functional WFS-T and WMS
server that follows the OGC specifications.
GeoServer is a tool you can display maps on web pages,
where the user can zoom and pan around. And it is
used in conjunction with clients such as OpenLayers,
Google Earth, UDig, GVSig and others.
ggplot2 is a plotting system for R, based on the grammar of graphics,
which tries to take the good parts of base and lattice graphics and
none of the bad parts. It takes care of many of the fiddly details
that make plotting a hassle (like drawing legends) as well as
providing a powerful model of graphics that makes it easy to produce
complex multi-layered graphics.
This module provides conversions between commonly used ways to express
colors. It provides conversions between color spaces such as RGB and
HSV, and it provides ways to look up colors by a name.
This class provides a base for subclasses which represent particular
color values in particular spaces. The base class provides methods to
represent the color in a few convenient forms, though subclasses may
provide more specific details for the space in question.
Perl helper class for implementing the Google Chart Tools Datasource Protocol.
The Google Visualization API is a nifty bit of kit for generating pretty
pictures from your data. By design it has a fair amount of Google-cruft, such
as non-standard JSON and stuffing configuration options in to a single CGI
query parameter.
Data::Google::Visualization::DataTable takes care of preparing data for the
API.
Quesa is a high level 3D graphics library, released as Open Source under
the LGPL, which offers binary and source level compatibility with Apple's
QuickDraw(TM) 3D API. Quesa does not contain any Apple source code, and was
developed without access to Apple's QD3D implementation.
QD3D supports both retained and immediate mode rendering, an extensible file
format, plug-in renderers, a wide range of high level geometries, hierarchical
models, and a consistent and object-orientated API.
Tulip software is a system dedicated to the visualization of huge
graphs. It manages graphs with a number of elements(node and edges) up
to 500.000 on a personal computer(PIII 600, with 256mo). Its SuperGraph
technology architecture enables to do the following things :
* 3D visualizations
* 3D modifications
* Plug-in support for easy evolution
* Building of clusters and navigation into it
* Automatic drawing of graphs
* Automatic clustering of graphs
* Automatic selection of elements
* Automatic Metric coloration of graphs
Xmandel is a user friendly interface for generating Mandelbrot sets and
Julia sets. It initially comes up with several command buttons,
which are described in the man page, for controlling the execution. A
Mandelbrot set is drawn in the window of the initial form when the
mandel button is selected. Other buttons are provided for zooming,
clearing, etc. A separate window is created for drawing the Julia sets.
