UFTP is an encrypted multicast file transfer program, designed to securely,
reliably, and efficiently transfer files to multiple receivers simultaneously.
This is useful for distributing large files to a large number of receivers,
and is especially useful for data distribution over a satellite link
(with two way communication), where the inherent delay makes any TCP based
communication highly inefficient.
Adonthell is the combined effort of like-minded people to create a free
role playing game for various operating systems.
The project's goals are the creation of an engine (currently going by
the codename adonthell), a set of tools and an actual, playable game
driven by that engine and built with those tools.
Aisleriot (also known as Solitaire or sol) is a collection of card games
which are easy to play with the aid of a mouse. The rules for the games
have been coded for your pleasure in the GNOME scripting language (Scheme).
Aisleroit contains over 80 card games.
AssaultCube, formerly ActionCube, is a free first-person-shooter based on the
game Cube. Set in a realistic looking environment, as far as that's possible
with this engine, while gameplay stays fast and arcade. This game is all about
team oriented multiplayer fun.
Deluxe Snake is a clone of the classic arcade games Nibbles and Snake,
with improved gameplay, including power-ups, mushrooms, walls, tail-bite,
and other fun stuff. Play on multiple arena sizes, with borders on/off,
in 4 different gamemodes. There's a top 20 high-scores list for each
combination of settings, which also stores gamelengths and dates, and
can be merged with friends' lists.
Balazar Brother is an amazing libre (PGL'ed) 3D puzzle game, realized
by Jiba and Nekeme Prod.
A 3D platform universe, two characters and two keys, one for each
character, and at the end of the road two princesses to free. Just
press a key and the corresponding character will jump on the next
platform in front of him.
KBounce is a single player arcade game with the elements of puzzle.
It is played on a field, surrounded by wall, with two or more balls
bouncing around within the walls. The object of the game is to
build new walls to decrease the size of the active field.
This is a port of the BSD "standard" games from Dragonfly BSD which
includes many improvements and cleanups from NetBSD and OpenBSD.
This source was formerly a part of the FreeBSD base system, but has
survived in the Dragonfly BSD repository.
The tetris command runs a display-based game. The object is to fit
shapes together to form complete rows, which then vanish. When the
shapes fill up to the top, the game ends. You can optionally select a
level of play or custom-select control keys.
This port is made of OpenBSD's tetris games. It got there from NetBSD...
