slurm started as a port of pppstatus to FreeBSD and now is a generic
curses based network load monitor.
It features three different modes with real-time ASCII graphs and
interface statistics for all kinds of network interfaces on most Unix systems.

SMCRoute is a command line tool to manipulate the multicast routes of a
UNIX kernel. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 multicast routing.
SMCRoute can be used as an alternative to dynamic multicast routers like
mrouted or pimd in setups where static multicast routes should be
maintained and/or no proper IGMP or MLD signaling exists.
SMM++ is a MUD client with mapping functionality. You can just use
mapping or just mudding or both together.
It is based on itcl , which itself depends on tcl/tk . itcl, tcl/tk
are free and standart programming languages. (If you need further
information, where to get itcl and/or tcl/tk, please drop me a
line.)
Virtual Distributed Ethernet is a user-mode virtual network (layer
2) infrastructure. It can be used for network simulations, joining
multiple qemu instances together in a shared virtual network, or
tunneling over the Internet. Physical hosts can be joined to the
virtual network by means of the tap(4) driver.
This is a port of librdkafka, a C library implementation
of the Apache Kafka protocol, containing both Producer and
Consumer support. It was designed with message delivery
reliability and high performance in mind, current figures
exceed 800000 msgs/second for the producer and 3 million
msgs/second for the consumer.
tcpshow reads a tcpdump(1) savefile and provides a reasonably complete
decode of Ethernet, IP, ICMP, UDP and TCP headers. Boolean expressions
may also be specified for packet selection. Data within the packets are
displayed in ASCII.
tcpshow's output is simular to Sun Solaris's snoop(1M) command for
network packet capture and inspection.
tcpslice is a tool for extracting portions of packet trace
files generated using tcpdump's -w flag.
The basic operation of tcpslice is to copy to stdout all packets
from its input file(s) whose timestamps fall within a given range.
RUT (pronouced as 'root') mean 'aRe yoU There'.
It was developed to brute force its way into wvlan (IEEE 802.11b)
access points which use mac authentification.
It offers a wide range of _local_ network discovery features like arp
lookup on all hosts on a network with vendor-string, spoofed DHCP
request, RARP, BOOTP, ICMP-ping and address mask request and some
other features.
TinTin++ is a console MUD client for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Its main
assets are an easy to learn and use scripting language, full telnet support,
a split screen interface to separate mud output from client input, and
keyboard macros that work on all systems.
A Twitter client for the console. The goal of the project is to build a
full-featured, lightweight, and extremely configurable Twitter client.
