This is a port of log4cplus, a simple-to-use C++ logging API providing
thread-safe, flexible, and arbitrarily granular control over log management
and configuration. It is modeled after the Java log4j API.

jwSMTP is a GPL-licensed C++ library to facilitate sending email
programmatically. All you need to worry about is who the mail is from, who to
send it to and the message itself, no network coding necessary. It is able to
send mail in html or plain format. jwSMTP can send attachments, send to
multiple recipients including Cc/Bcc recipients. LOGIN and PLAIN SMTP
authentication. Do an MX lookup or send direct via an smtp server.
Supported platforms are BSD, Linux and Windows.
Fastcluster provides Python functions for hierarchical clustering. It generates
hierarchical clusters from distance matrices or from vector data.
Part of this module is intended to replace the functions
linkage, single, complete, average, weighted, centroid, median, ward
in the module scipy.cluster.hierarchy with the same functionality but much
faster algorithms. Moreover, the function 'linkage_vector' provides
memory-efficient clustering for vector data.
The interface is very similar to MATLAB's Statistics Toolbox API to make code
easier to port from MATLAB to Python/Numpy. The core implementation of this
library is in C++ for efficiency.
WHAT IS AMANDA?
---------------
This is a release of Amanda, the Advanced Maryland Automatic
Network Disk Archiver. Amanda is a backup system designed to archive many
computers on a network to a single large-capacity tape drive.
Here are some features of Amanda:
* written in C, freely distributable.
* built on top of standard backup software: Unix dump/restore, and
later GNU Tar and others.
* will back up multiple machines in parallel to a holding disk, blasting
finished dumps one by one to tape as fast as we can write files to
tape. For example, a ~2 Gb 8mm tape on a ~240K/s interface to a host
with a large holding disk can be filled by Amanda in under 4 hours.
* does simple tape management: will not overwrite the wrong tape.
dv2sub is a simple utility that extracts the date and time of recording from
a dv video file (using libdv) and outputs it as a subtitle file.
It can also display useful information about the dv stream, like video norm
(PAL/NTSC), aspect ratio normal (4:3) or wide (16:9), interlaced or
progressive material, number of audio channels, audio sampling frequency,
number of audio samples, timestamp and recording date & time.
Script that creates a slideshow-style DVD with some simple menus.

ipfcount reads ipf(8) logs and extracts the following fields:
iface group rule action shost sport dhost dport proto flags type dir
You can then print lists like 'top <n> blocked ports', 'top <n> blocked hosts',
or 'incoming connections sorted by interface and protocol'.
For more sophisticated lists, you can filter the entries using Perl expressions.
