JAGS is Just Another Gibbs Sampler -- a program for analysis of
Bayesian hierarchical models using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC)
simulation.
The functionality of JAGS is based on the BUGS program created by the
MRC Biostatistics Unit (http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/). There is a short
manual that describes the differences between JAGS and BUGS.
Some of the BUGS examples have been modified to run with JAGS, and have
been turned into a test suite.

Sysmon is a network monitoring tool designed to provide high
performance and accurate network monitoring.
This tool is available in the public domain for anyone to use
it that is interested. It provides better performance and
checking capabilities than other tools such as Rover, Nocmon
(not this: Nocmonitor),Whatsup, Big Brother, and other such tools.
Currently supported protocols include SMTP, IMAP, HTTP,TCP,
UDP, NNTP, and PING tests.
[ excerpt from developer's web site ]
This is C++ class library wrapping the Berkeley
sockets C API, and therefore works on most Unixes and also Win32.
Features include, but are not limited to, SSL support, IPv6 support,
TCP and UDP sockets, encrypted TCP, HTTP protocol, highly customizable
error handling.
The source code is released under the terms of the GNU GPL, but is
also available under an alternative license.
pbnc runs in userland and acts as a simple TCP port forwarder.
It has a single-threaded design (uses select(), does not
fork). It can handle multiple targets with an unlimited number
of clients (at least in theory), and supports simple IP-based
access control. Since pbnc works on network level, it does not
care about the application protocol. It can tunnel FTP
(control connection), SSH, HTTP and all other protocols using
TCP communication. Application-level SSL/TLS encryption is
also no problem.
This is a keyboard for input of the complex Biblical Hebrew (including
cantillation marks) with Unicode fonts. It is written in Keyman keyboard
language and developed by SIL Non-Roman Script Initiative (NRSI).
This port installs the keyboard so that it can be used through SCIM or
IBus KMFL IMEngine (textproc/scim-kmfl-imengine, textproc/ibus-kmfl).
The keyboard is provided under the terms of MIT/X11 License.

Live, the "Live Interactive VDR Environment", is a plugin providing the
possibility to interactively control the VDR and some of it's plugins by
a web interface.
Unlike external utility programs that communicate with VDR and it's plugins
by SVDRP, Live has direct access to VDR's data structures and is thus very
fast.
