The useracc utility is a special purpose database application to
store and retrieve data about users in a distributed environment.
It is usable in situations where a single numerical and/or a single
non-numerical field for each index (possibly a user name) are
adequate.
Homerun is a fullscreen launcher with content organized in tabs.
A tab is composed of several "sources". A source can provide one
or more sections to a tab. Homerun comes with a few built-in sources,
but custom sources can be written using libhomerun.
CHARVA is a Java framework for presenting a "graphical" user interface,
composed of elements such as windows, dialogs, menus, textfields and
buttons, on a traditional character-cell ASCII terminal.
It has an API based on that of "Swing" (a.k.a. the Java Foundation Classes).
C-Reduce is a tool which takes a large C or C++ program that has a property of
interest (such as triggering a compiler bug) and automatically produces a much
smaller C/C++ program that has the same property. It is intended for use by
people who discover and report bugs in compilers and other tools that process
C/C++ code.
devtodo is a program to assist developers (or anybody who uses a
terminal) in maintaining a list of outstanding tasks in a hierarchical,
prioritised, list. Additionally, it can automatically list outstanding
items when you change into a directory (see example shell configurations
in ${PREFIX}/share/examples/devtodo).
Icmake is a hybrid between a 'make' utility and a 'shell script'
language. Originally, it was concocted to provide a useful tool for
automatic program maintenance and system administrative tasks on MS-DOS
platforms. Later on, Icmake was eventually ported to Unix platforms
(SCO and Linux). By now Icmake also runs on a HP-Unix platform.
